This 20″ x 100′ roll of Premium Luster Photo Inkjet Paper from Epson is a resin-coated medium with a 260 gsm and a 10 mil thickness which provide a durable photo feel. This instant drying paper produces vivid, lifelike images similar to traditional silver halide prints. Premium Luster Photo Paper delivers highly saturated prints with high ink absorption rates and a wide color gamut.

I use this product from test prints to exhibition portfolio prints. It has never failed me and works wonderfully with Epson Professional printers. My photographs contain a wide spectrum of colors and very deep blacks. Premium Luster always prints extremely vibrant colors as well as my full spectrum of blacks. I highly recommend this paper to beginning students to professionals.

I have been using this paper as a replacement for Fujichrome photo paper since I switched to inkjet printing three years ago. It delivers or exceeds the performance of the best direct-reversal photo paper available at the end (dare I say it) of the film era. I use a variety of media, but this is my favorite for traditional fine photo printing

I’ve been using this paper for many years. I find it best for printing commercial photography assignments, such as architectural shots and product shots. It will print portraits well but the lighter weight of the paper does not make the best impression on a client when holding a print. I print using roll paper for my commercial work. Print curl does not go away easily, if ever. But I print many five foot wide panos and the print curl is less of an issue than with a smaller print. If you will be framing prints there is one very important issue with this paper: don’t frame under glass for at least three days after printing. The paper gasses off and will fog glass if you don’t wait a couple of days before framing. If I wait several days I have not had a problem. This is not an archival paper so I do not recommend it for fine art printing. Very saturated, vibrant colors print well, as do black-and-white images. There is a slightly cool tone to this bright paper. So to sum up it’s a great paper for printing commercial work, but there are better papers for portrait printing, and much better choices for fine art prints. All of these others types of papers are available from Epson.

I am a photo educator in higher education and we use this paper frequently. It is a great in between for matte surface and glossy and yields gorgeous blacks. The great thing about roll paper is saving money and the ability to create custom sizes. Also, if you do panoramics you can get a much larger print without having to waste so much printable surface.

I use this paper for proofing exhibition signage, didactic panels and photographs as well as printing finals. The luster sheen is quite nice and durable and the surface really holds up in public spaces with quite a bit of (filtered) sunlight.

I use this paper for my senior thesis exhibition. The images always turn out great on the paper. As one of the cheaper options this is a great paper for students or anyone in photography. The only downside is the paper is thing so when printing larger it is difficult to handle.
