Very good product. I use it for mostly black and white fine art printing. Very good tones and comparable to other fine art papers. No problems yet!

has a great color gamut and deep black. a beautiful surface for fine art prints. only problem is the surface is incredibly delicate, must be stored or matted with great care.

I make artist quality prints of my work. Best quality paper, vibrant colors, dark blacks. Perfect for my needs.

I definitely love this paper. It’s great for fine art prints. The texture is my favorite part about it.

This paper has great texture. Deep rich colors! The challenge is knowing which side of the paper to print on. One side is slightly smoother than the other the different is very small.

I ordered this paper for the architecture firm I work for. We were looking for a paper that was professional, vibrant and sharp. Many of the other matte papers that we tried lost the full color range. As a result, our work lost its 3d quality. This paper afforded us great saturation on the blacks and bold colors.

This is my go to paper for color. It does a great job of reproducing what I see on the monitor with vibrant color.

The paper is high quality and prints fairly well. I do have some trouble with blocked up shadows. The inks looks like it bleeds a bit in the dark areas. I just got an Epson 3800 and I am still trying out papers that look right for me. But I feel that is a good, high quality rag paper that would work well for someone who likes the mat finish.

Better detail compared to Epson Watercolor Paper

I use this paper to reproduce some of my colorful paintings using my Epson R3000. The colors siply pop off the page – or did when I figured out how to align my settings properly. It’s really super and I’m selling the prints! I think I’m on my 4th box in a month.

I purchased some Epson Velvet Fine Art for use with an R2400. With some hiccups the results have been great. Wonderful texture and great whites. Its huge dmax gives you the printing range you need. Beware though of Epson’s loading instructions. I find it works best when top loaded and id’d in the driver as enhanced mat.

Epson Velvet Fine Art is an excellent paper for a cotton rag finish that has a very good weight (about 20 mils). The surface has a slight texture and images really pop where a matte finish would work better than a luster or gloss surface. Even though it has Optical Brightening Agents (OBA), I have never had a problem with any of the Epson papers that contain OBAs and I have been using Epson papers for almost 20 years.

This is a consistent and reliable printing paper and a standard setting in the Epson printer interface. Besides its inherrent merit, it can also serve as a bench mark paper for determining whether an Epson printer is functioning normally by comparing a printer managed color print with a color print made with the Epson provided profile managed by Photoshop/Lightroom.

LOVE this paper . . . printed my husband’s gorgeous watercolor on this paper, 4 up . . . with 3 regular sizes and a smaller one used as a bookmark. After separately cutting the images apart, I applied each to a beautiful blue card stock and then glued the two pieces onto a blank greeting card. I then inserted a hand-written Holiday message . . . voil . . . a stunning handmade Holiday card, suitable for framing!

I bought this paper for a digital printmaking class, and it works very well for my projects. The color saturation is almost unreal and the amount of detail I get out of my prints is phenomenal. One complaint I have is the price, yet I’d still say it’s worth the money. I just wish it didn’t cost so much.

This is a beautiful paper. I have used it both for a large print in which I combined photographs and words and for prints in which I wanted a matte textured finish for a photograph. It is exactly what I had in mind. The only problem I had with it was that the instructions that came with it say to print on the whiter side and I have a hard time seeing that one side is whiter than the other, which makes me wonder if the instructions are wrong and it can be used on either side? Or whether I’m just not seeing the difference? At any rate, I’m very happy with the prints I’ve made from it.
