With this paper, I make framed 13×19 prints. I use this paper with my Epson r3000 printer. The results are stunning. Highly recommend!

I love the feel and weight of the paper and the depth of color it prints. I use this paper more than any other. Expensive but worth it.

Velvet Fine Art Paper has become my go to paper for black and white printing on my Epson 3880. Not only does it hold detail, it has a great tonal range. Furthermore the rough texture almost results in a 3D effect.

truly beautiful results with this paper…rich, deep colors and tones. does dust up the printer a bit. good to use some canned air after printing several sheets of this great paper. worth the extra maintenance….probably should be doing that dusting thing anyway.

I shoot in digital infrared and process most of my work in black and white. A glossy finish just does not fit the aesthetic of my work. This paper allows all of the gorgeous tones of the gray scale and very deep blacks to come through. I will not print my monotones on any other paper!

Great quality paper. Color came out outstanding especially for pencil drawing texture! It’s a little pricy…

I’ve been using this paper for a long time and I am always happy with the results. I frequently get comments on my framed prints that they look like paintings. I’m using a Epson 3880 printer. A great paper.

Always a pleasure dealing with B&H for quality products such as Epson paper

Actually haven’t had time to use this paper, but wanted to point out an extra effort from B&H. I ordered this paper along with a lens and filter. B&H packed the paper box separately. No bent corners!!! Thank you B&H!!!

I’ve been using this paper for my fine art exhibit prints for at least four years. Every time I try another paper, I keep coming back to the Velvet. I get the details I want in the shadows. The colors, tonal range and the blacks are the best I’ve been able to achieve on my Epson 2200. And what I see on my display is almost always what I see on my print. I’ve also experienced no flaking as I hear some complain about other mat papers.

Nice paper and a good price from B&H but it really is hard to tell which is the print side. The packing does not explicit identify other than saying its the whiter side, be nice if the package said this side up. Generally I’ve found the side facing the package flap is the print side, but I would not rely on that. Best way is slightly dampen a finger tip and feel a corner, the tackier side is the print side. For this reason I generally prefer MOAB Entrada which is 2 sided but I do think Epson Velvet Fine Art has slightly more range. But that may be just me.

I use this paper exclusively for color printing. I have tried many other fine papers, bu this is the one that best registers the feeling I first had when creating the image in the field. I purchase thru B&H because they offer very competitive pricing and package the paper so that I have never had any damage issues on all the years I have been ordering.

The paper is too soft, it showed scratches from my printhead.

I absolutely love Epson’s Velvet Fine Art Paper for the work I do. Because the paper absorbs ink, images made on Velvet have a perceptible depth to them, much like my platinum prints from film. Also, this paper yields beautiful, velvety (appropriately enough) blacks and vivid colors. I use it for landscape photography, as well as portraiture and still lifes, and it makes a beautiful base for black and white prints, giving them a completely different feel from those make on glossy paper. The paper has a subtle texture that’s not at all obtrusive and actually accentuates most prints. The only downside to this paper is that there’s not an obvious face or back side, but it must be printed on the face side. I keep track by only removing one sheet at a time from the inner package and keeping it with the seal side up, which means the face side is always up, too.

We use this for customer reproduction as well as in house for creating high quality postcards, bookmarks, and invitations. The weight, brightness and size are great for our needs and it fits great in our EPSON R2880 and works great in the EPSON 9900 as well. This is a staple that we always keep on hand.

I have been using this paper for 15 years or more now. It’s perfect and gives amazing results.

This is a nice feeling relatively inexpensive paper. This paper does not have a photo paper glossy surface, it’s more of a watercolor paper feel. The blues tend to print more toward a cyan than a true vivid blue. And the saturation isn’t as dark when compared to a better paper such as Moab’s Somerset Enhanced Velvet paper where the colors are very vivid and really pop. If you’re looking for something inexpensive which you don’t have install icc profiles for the paper and just want it to work, this is one of the better looking epson papers. It doesn’t feel as cheap as their other glossy or matte papers. If you’re looking for a paper for professional quality prints, this isn’t the best option.

I use this paper with the piezography inks to print fine black and white images. I am very happy with the feel of the paper as well as the quality of the resulting prints. Provides excellent contrast an dMax.

Wonderful matte paper, good for wide range of uses, including exhibitions. In conjunction with Epson Exhibition Fiber, you can handle a very wide range of images.
