This paper makes a simple photograph look as if it is a water color. The colors are bright and vibrant and surprisingly, despite the texture of the paper, no sharpness of the print is affected. Love the heaviness and feel of it. We are using this paper for most of our prints for a Photo show in a local Art gallery in the near future. Hope it generates great sales.

I have been using this paper for over 5 years with excellent results! After trying various papers during this time, I continue to place this paper above all others for my fine-art printing. It is simply, spectacular!

I love Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper, but the box you guys sent this in was the exact dimensions of the paper package and managed to get crushed a bit, so the edges of the paper ended up with some crinkling. :/ I really needed it for art I was printing to submit to Comic-Con’s Art Show and didn’t have time to send this back for a replacement…luckily the prints I was doing were 8 x 10’s and I’d be cutting off a large margin. But maybe next time you could package better to avoid such a tight-fit box and risk of package damage.

great for soft photo look prints. Its has a look unlike any photo print Ive seen. It would work great for printing a copy of a painting. Only con is it says to print on the whiter side. I have trouble telling wich side is whiter.

this is the only Matte paper i will use. nothing else comes close nuff said. it is a thick paper that needs care when feeding it into your printer, but that is a small price to pay for the results you get from the paper

has a great color gamut and deep black. a beautiful surface for fine art prints. only problem is the surface is incredibly delicate, must be stored or matted with great care.

I love the way it is substantial weight and soaks up the inks, saturating the paper and yet carries a watercolor feel.

This paper is incredible. I have an Epson Stylus Pro 3880 and use this paper for graphic art pieces and the detail and vibrance is something even my offset printer can’t compete with. Beautiful paper and you won’t find a better price out there than B&H.

I do most of my own printing (for 10 years now) as I feel it’s part of the creative / artistic process. Well, I’ve had my R2400 for over 2 years before finally trying this paper… What was I thinking??? The output on this paper is absolutely incredible! I’ve gone back and printed several of my favorite pieces with this paper – it’s amazing how much richer, sharper and vivid they are now. The first noticeable attribute of this paper, it’s weight! Nice! It is heavy – it simply feels as if you’ve got the best pro paper available! I believe, once you try it, you’ll want all your prints on this paper – despite it’s higher price. I’ll soon be upgrading to the 2880 with this paper, I cannot wait to see the results!

Epson Fine Art Paper is a top quality product. My images are beautiful, maintain their original colors and on top of this, my clients love their fine art prints once they receive them. Thank you Epson!

I really like this paper. Stiff, nice bright colors, haven’t noticed fading after three years. scuffs a bit if youre not careful though. dries quickly. nice watercolor effect on some tones.

I purchased sample packages of Epson Signature Worthy and Legacy papers to evaluate and compare the differences between the papers. After printing identical color and monochrome images and comparing the results on all of the papers, I discovered (to my surprise) that they all looked the same. The main primary difference, was that some of the papers had a semi-gloss finish and the others were matte. Among the matte finishes, the Velvet Fine Art had a good weight, texture, and was the least expensive of the matte papers. It is composed of cotton fiber and does contain optical brightening agents (OBA’s). I would strongly suggest that printers do a comparison among the wide range of papers on the market and then determine which matte paper would suit their needs. Again, (for me) the Epson Velvet Fine Art paper met all of my criteria.

I printed several prints for a photography show with this paper. I had used Moab’s Somerset Velvet in the past but didn’t want to spend the money. Someone told me about this paper. Although it isn’t inexpensive either, it was less than Moab’s and just as good in my opinion.

This paper is easy to handle and gives a film-like quality to my images. It’s clear that it ain’t a photo until it’s printed.
