First time using the Epson P600, I started with Velvet Fine Art paper, and I can’t remember that last time (it’s been a few years since I last printed my images) that prints came out so close to what I see on my monitor (printing mostly B&W, but also color, btw) and more eye-popping, to boot. Can’t say I’m thrilled with the price of the paper or that the matt black ink was practically empty after 20 sheets, but quite happy with the quality.

I can not get this product in my home town. I have been searching for and found it at B&H. My photos have certainly been enhanced by using this paper.

This is the first time ive ever printed my art and the first paper ive used so i dont have anything to compare it to. I will say that this company is great to shop with. They have the best prices and their merchandise is top notch. As for my prints again ….. the colors came out beautiful on this paper. I use an Epson Surecolor P 900 and wanted to start out with paper that was compatible with my printer. I love it.

I have searched for a product as good as this one (for less money, of course), and have not been able to find it. My fine art prints look identical to ones done professionally. This is the best product I have found.

This is great paper for many prints that I want to have texture in the picture. This paper often gives a painting like feel to digital prints.

Gives the look of a painting. Colors are very true.

I love this paper…it has a great texture. Not too rich but has a nice, fine art feel. I wish it was a little thicker, but it is still my main paper to use. This paper doesn’t have a marker for which side is the printing side, so you have to be careful.

I like the weight and feel of this paper. Black really pops. Not good for portraits but fantastic landscapes.

I love the paper which is archival and also prints the colors true to image. also love the prompt service so i send for epson products from B and H instead of Epson directly.

I’ve been using Epson Velvet Fine Art for about 5 years for prints in black and white. The quality has always been excellent. The paper was very toothy, so embedded dust was a problem. Now it is not only toothy, but has a patterned texture which, to my mind, detracts from the printed image.

Use with Epson 3800 printer for fine art prints. Consistently on of my few ‘go to’ papers. Use for both color and B&W prints.

I have been using this paper for over 5 years with excellent results! After trying various papers during this time, I continue to place this paper above all others for my fine-art printing. It is simply, spectacular!

If you use this product correctly, with high end ink, printer, formating, and color corrected monetor this paper will shine every time. Literally! This is not a glossy paper, but it doesn’t need to be. If there is any metal or reflective surfice in your image somehow the paper helps it to actually appear glossy and metalic like. The only thing that is difficult with this paper is that any oil from your fingers will stay on the paper. Make sure you wear archival gloves when touching any part of the paper or your print will br ruined.

I love Espon Velvet Fine Art Paper. And printing it on my epson surecolor P600 in the large size really transforms the photo into an art image.

We use Velvet fine art by Epson for most of our printing. it is a good heavy paper with a nice finish. The only downside is that it can damage very easy.

I’ve been doing comparisons to the Velvet Fine Art and Epson Ultra Premium Luster on a 3800 Stylus Pro. I like the results of the Velvet better. I’m very pleased with the sharpness of the prints in both color and B&W, and the rich tones and colors. To me the Velvet yields a more vivid print. One issue, however, is making sure you’re printing on the whiter side of the paper. It’s very difficult for me to see the whiter side but two tips have been helpful. Epson packs the printable side facing up when you open the package (box/plastic flap side up). The other test is the sticky test. Lightly moisten a thumb and forefinger and gently press on a tip of one sheet. The sticky (or stickier) side is the printable side. I’ve printed some B&W portrait shots that have all black backgrounds with the face the only lit subject area and have been very pleased with the results.
