I proof with with ultra premium presentation paper MATTE. EVFAP gives me a similar print with more dmax. My two other two favorite papers are Luster and Exhibition Fine Art Paper (even more dmax). EVFAP gives me that same brightness plus a wonderful texture.

I use this paper to print fine art photographs. It has a wonderful texture, subtle but tactile. Sent a few images to a fellow photographer who was just blown away by the prints. Gives the photo an authentic fine art look and feel. Just wish it was available in larger rolls or sheets!

I have used his paper in my old Epson R1800 and now my new Epson Pro3880. In the R1800, I fell in love with the subtle texture and the wonderful richness and saturation that this paper was capable of. With the 3880, things are even better and now I get beautiful black and white images, too. If you want a gallery look and feel, especially if you play with filters such as dry brush in Photoshop or you manipulate images in Corel Painter, this paper will give you a texture that compliments those painterly looks perfectly. But it is also a great paper for artsy photographs and landscape/scenic photographs too because it will keep nice crisp edges. It is not cheap, but quality never is. I suggest using Epson Ultra Premium Matte to do your proofs and only use this paper for the final print to keep costs down. As other people have mentioned, B&H packages papers so they arrive undamaged using an outer box and bubble wrap. No bent corners with B&H. They do it right.

Great tonal range with vivid colors and strong black. Does have problems loading on the Stylus 2880 but once it prints, the results looks terrific.

I print on an Epson 2200. The Velvet gives me black and white prints with a large tonality range, and color prints have a ‘painterly’ feel. The paper surface is fragile, and must be handled with care.

I’m a fine artist and use this paper for my limited edition prints. The subtle texture is lovely and it takes color very well. Proud to give my clients their prints.

I use this paper for images I digitally paint and/or work on in mixed media. The weight of VFA paper gives me a lot of latitude in how I choose to use it, and the prints are rich in color and clarity. Just make sure your printer can print paper this thick.

This paper is very pricey but worth every cent. It provides a whole new look for your work. I wish I could afford to use it for everything I do.

I have always liked the texture, weight and durability of the Fine Art Paper but the most important feature is the color. Clients have always marveled at the quality of the color that can be produced using this fine paper.
