When taking paper out of package, the directions do not indicate that the paper is facing up. States use smooth surface. Difficult to tell which is smooth side.

Im using it with my Canon Pro 9000 Mark II to reproduce images of my original paintings. The weight and texture of the paper exude quality. The images on this paper are stunning. I feel like I should future proof my excitement by purchasing truckloads of this paper.

Everything I thought it would be. Beautiful texture, feels great in the hand, excellent color and deep blacks. Has worked well in my Epson 2400 right from the start. Great paper for the price.

This is such a great paper for matte prints, both color and monochrome. The color depth is spectacular. For a special portrait paper, it can’t be beat. Just make sure your printer can handle it.

I have a new Epson P-700 and am using this paper to make color art prints. I find most of them come out great and others are a little dull on this paper and more vibrant on 3rd party paper. No idea why.

Textured paper creates a more earthy look to the finished photograph.

I work for a Museum and I use the Velvet Fine Art paper to reproduce prints from our collection of paintings for our gift shop. The results are beautiful. For a reproduction I feel the paper helps to keep the original intent of the artwork. I also use this paper for proofing, to help me color match digital files to originals.

In terms of quality and price (via B&H), you can’t beat the results with this paper when used with Epson inks. Great color and blacks in matte mode (I rarely use photo black).

I use this to print my digital photographs on. It produces a high quality print with no bleeding, no loss of definition, and it is a heavy enough paper that gives great support to the photo.

I love this paper. It shows off your images in a classy way. I use it with an Epson Stylus printer. Images are crisp without the gloss.

Tried all of the signature worthy paper and this is by far my favorite for color. The color is bold and really makes things pop.
