I love this paper. When I want top quality prints, I always choose Epson. The paper seems to match my Epson Artisan printer perfectly. When I want to really get the most out a print, I use the Epson ultra premium paper. It is nice and thick, dries quickly, and shows such great detail that my friends are always surprised when I tell them I made the print at home. The only thing I regret is when I make a mistake and accidentally waste a sheet. Fortunately, B & H sells it at a price that makes this pretty painless.

I print a ton of photos and after using Epsons Ultra Premium Photo paper I will never go back to any other. I have tried Kodak, Canon, Hp and some off brands in all different grades. This by far is the best for those extra special photos and well worth the price. The stock is thicker than any other I have used. It is a brilliant white and takes ink like a champ. No puddles or smudging. The clarity @ 600dpi is fantastic with no bleed whatsoever.

I needed this paper for headshots and is was the perfect size. The only problem that I had with the product was the fact that the printer that I had to use doesn’t like the size of the paper very much to say the least, but other than that, the product was good.

You can use generic photo paper, or another brand, but if you want the best quality for your Epson printer, always use Epson inks and photo papers. There is a reason Epson is one of the leading printer manufacturers–they make great products. I’ve used many printers through the years (starting with an Amstrad dot matrix 🙂 and used all of the ink jets for printing photos. The best results by far are with this paper and Epson ink (a good camera helps, too).

At 11.8 mil and 79 lb weight, this is one of the heaviest photo papers in it’s class. It is useful for creating custom DVD envelopes because of it’s thickness and the surface takes beautiful images. I have often used an Epson R1900 with this paper with excellent results, unlike another reviewer here. This is fine photo paper.
