If you own an Epson printer using the Ultrachrome 2 inkset (R1900) DO NOT BUY THIS PAPER! I downloaded a profile for it from Epson for my R1900 and it is also listed in the R1900 User’s Guide. Prints looked like mud – no contrast, no clarity. Contacted Epson Tech Support, who said that this paper is not supported in my printer, and is not guaranteed. I am returning the paper today. So, maybe it will print nicely in your printer, but it might not be guaranteed!

I bought my Epson printer a year ago. I typically use pro labs for my print work, but I like to print some at home here and there for personal use. The epson paper makes a pro looking print when I need to give a few extras. I also like to print on the epson when I know I have a client that wants to get a print release-dvd to take to a chain store. I will get a print at a local chain store, then do a print on my Epson to show them the difference in quality. They will order the prints from me after showing them and I order from a lab. But the epson shows the proof for me right off!

I chose to use Epson Premium Luster and this Premium Glossy paper, due to my previous positive experience with them, going back many years. After printing dozens & dozens of photos on this Premium Glossy (both 8.5×11 and 11×17), I see it as an excellent paper for both B&W and color. It gets a solid recommendation from me.
