Nice thick stock, deep rich blacks, vibrant color, awesome paper

This is a heavy paper, which, when it’s surface dries to the expected lustre or soft gloss, is an admirable printing paper for serious work. Unfortunately it does not always dry to a uniform gloss. In my experience, the paper frequently shows different degrees of surface character coming out of my large Epson Pro 3800. The uneven degree of semi gloss persists in the face of trying variables in settings to the point where I will have to discontinue using it. As usual with large-scale manufacturers, Epson is puzzled by my reporting this, and has no clue as to a solution other than an offer to replace it, so I must consider switching to other similar papers.

I’ve tried so many papers for printing on my epson 3880 and this is the best yet…love that it comes in so many sizes so i can proof.

Perfect color and density. I love the finish. It handles well and is perfectly consistent.

Extremely versatile fine art paper for inkjet printing. The bright white smooth matte surface has a great color gamut with deep blacks and white whites. Though its a matte fine art paper, it holds fine detail extremely well, letting significant details pop

Excellent color. Reds are a little warmer than Moab Entrada. Cooler colors are about the same. Very nice color saturation. Has a very smooth finish. A heavy, stiff paper – make sure your printer will handle it. My Epson 3800 handles it just fine. Nice print job on misty/foggy photo topics. I shoot mostly landscapes.

I use this with my P800 printer. Old photo restorations have the look and feel of vintage prints. I’ve wanted to make prints that look like what I get with this paper for over 40 years. No traditional photo papers ever came close to the beautiful matte blacks that can be achieved with this Epson paper and their pigmented inks.

I use the paper to make archival fine art prints on Epson printers. I’m very happy with the weight and color tone of the paper. It’s very smooth, but don’t mistake it for fuji crystal archive or more traditional photographic papers.

This paper makes all my b/w pictures look better. As I mentioned in my review of the 13×19 version it does not distract like the shine of a glossy paper yet it is not dull like some matte finishes. It really makes beautiful prints without calling attention to itself. A picture that doesn’t look good on it probably should not have been printed. The paper will make a good picture look great and is a great value for such a product.

This is a very bright and very smooth acid-free, lignin-free, pH buffered fiber paper. I print mainly BW and images which turn out sharp and have great tonal range and dmax. It’a a nice heavy 330gms/0.5mm paper.

Stunning reproduction of images. The most beautiful paper I have ever used. Wish that more paper sizes were available

Was a long time user of hot press natural and thought I found my go to paper and much prefer a mat finish rather than glossy or semi gloss. Out of curiosity I decided to try hot press bright and it didn’t disappoint great color and blacks and prefer it over the natural.

This is a superb paper. It quickly has become my all time favorite.

Great

It is beautifully packaged, consistent and yields great prints. My printer is an epson 4880 with matte black inks.

I have been printing with this paper for years. It was my favorite, but the last 3 boxes have been defective and I had to send each back. The borders actually bled. I guess Espons quality control sucks

I have being using this paper for about 3+ years for my limited editions imaging and for clients. The quality is impressive, truly exceptional on b&w photos as well as in color. The texture and finishing look give a sense of old times photos. Prints are gallery and museum quality.

I bought the Epson paper to sell my digital prints and what a success! The paper absorbs the paper fully and with a spray fix the color becomes vibrant!

We use hot press for many of our fine art prints. Any image where the texture of cold press would be a problem will be printed on hot press bright or natural. These papers are heavy and have real substance to them. They have nice smooth surfaces and show the color very well.
