Replicating the appearance and feel of a traditional F-surface darkroom paper, Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper aims to provide users with a beautiful soft gloss finish for their digital prints. A fiber base offers a professional feel with a weight of 325 gsm and thickness of 13 mil, making it an excellent choice for galleries and exhibitions. Also, by utilizing some optical brightening agents the paper is able to reach a whiteness of 147% and a brightness of 111%. This makes it possible to create prints with deep blacks and subtle tonal gradations, suitable for advanced black-and-white printing as well as long-lasting color prints. Additionally, this paper is instant drying.

It’s a bit more pricey than I’d like, but I am very happy with this paper for exhibition quality black and white prints with my R2400 printer. Just be sure you use the manual feed slot and make sure the thick paper option is selected.

I have done a lot of moving and handling of the prints that I’ve made on this paper and the thickness and surface are both holding up GREAT. Here is the paper of the traditional darkroom user’s dream. As a long time creator of darkrom prints I have been looking for an inkjet paper that would parallel the best wet paper processes. I look for a good fiber paper which has a solid feel. Epson Exhibition Fiber effectively reaches that standard and, in my opinion, even surpasses it. The surface recalls that of a fine fiber double weight glossy paper after it was washed, fixed, and air dried. It reproduces tonalities well, whether producing color or black and white prints. I especially like the 17×22 size since it is sturdy enough to take handling, despite its size, during the printer processing, without fear of damaging the surface. All in all, this Epson paper is capable of producing a print of exhibition quality. As a long time profesional photographer and former professor in the photography department of a New York State university, I back up my statement with years of experience. Finally, compared to other premium fiber papers being offered, I think it is very competitively priced at B&H.

I think this is among the best digital papers around. It gives good blacks and pretty good whites. The semi-gloss finish gives good crisp results. Its also a sturdy paper.

I have completed a series of in-depth printing tests on this paper compared to Moab’s Lasal Exhibition Luster 300 (which has been my choice for years). After creating calibrations for both papers, and printing uncorrected test files, the additional depth and internal contrast of the Epson paper is easy to see–in B&W and color. This is all the more surprising when you set the sheets of paper next to each other, because the Moab paper clearly has a brighter base white. I would certainly recommend it.

This archival exhibition fiber paper makes the most beautiful prints I have ever created. It mimiics those produceed in the LIFE lab at the Time-Life Building over the years when photogrgraphs were developed the old fashioned way with chemicals.The technical experts in the lab used glossy paper dried mat. My purpose in using this paper is for display. Today, I was proud to give a print to a friend. It was the most beautiful I have ever made.

I use this for my Fine Art Photography, I print Mat and Sell my own work, and this is my paper of choice. It’s the perfect Semi-Matte surface to allow your images to pop off the page. I use this paper exclusively for printing large photographs on an Epson 4880 printer. The roll is easy to handle and load on the printer. The surface is more of a lustre than high gloss, however, it renders rich highlight detail and deep blacks in the shadows. It’s a perfect choice for either B&W or full color images.
