Replicating the appearance and feel of a traditional F-surface darkroom paper, Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper aims to provide users with a beautiful soft gloss finish for their digital prints. A fiber base offers a professional feel with a weight of 325 gsm and thickness of 13 mil, making it an excellent choice for galleries and exhibitions. Also, by utilizing some optical brightening agents the paper is able to reach a whiteness of 147% and a brightness of 111%. This makes it possible to create prints with deep blacks and subtle tonal gradations, suitable for advanced black-and-white printing as well as long-lasting color prints. Additionally, this paper is instant drying.
This paper is available here as a 25-pack of 8.5 x 11″ sheets.

I was excited to make a larger print on Exhibition Fiber after seeing the proof on the 8 1/2 x 11 Exhibition Fiber. Unfortunately, the coating appeared defective on the 17×22. I sent it back and am waiting for my new box.

I use this paper to print scans of my paintings as well as photography. The result is something which is to me unrivaled as far as other papers out there. It is heavy, non-flimsy. The surface gleams, rather than shines; it’s something less ‘glitzy’ and more elegant – – a satin-esque radiance, rather than a specular one. No one can be disappointed in this paper, I can’t recommend it enough…. worth every penny. I wish it came in more sizes.

I heard that this paper was like butter, beautiful, and very expensive. But as I checked online it was not ask explensive as they have said. So I am using it for my Thesis Show. It is perfect, better than any other paper I have used. The paper is easy to load, and it doesn’t even stink like some of the epson papers do, such as luster. I really don’t have a single complaint about it. Perfect product for gallery work.

This is a superb paper for making fine prints. It has a semi-gloss texture much like darkroom paper. I could not afford to use it until Epson dumped the price…it used to be $! I use it in all sizes up to 24 wide.

This has to be Epson’s finest paper. It’s glossy, but it isn’t near to being the glossiest. (I think Harman FB Al wins that contest.) It’s got a nice surface texture too. Overall, it makes prints look great without picking up too much glare. Nice paper.

I use this paper in the majority of my gallery exhibitions. It has a nice presence in gallery lighting. I like to spend my time taking photos and marketing my work. I do not enjoy monkeying with a gazillion printer/monitor settings on my computer. Since I own an Epson large format printer, it is nice that everything is geared up to go and I can get outstanding prints with minimal tweaking. This paper has an elegant look and feel that gallery owners like in presenting to their clients. My only beef about this paper is that it scratches easily. I use a clear u/v spray over all my prints to ensure that I do not lose quality with prints on this paper. This is an excellent, cost effective paper to get your prints out and sold to the public.

great for art reproductions, can even be worked upon with acrylic paint after printing.

I have tried a lot of different papers and this one is the best combination of thickness, durability and brightness.

I own a printing business and this is my best selling paper. I sometimes use it for my own work as well. Great for color images as well as black and white. Thick, fine art, professional feel.

Great tones for high end printing

I love this paper, but my Epson R2400 printer does not love it. It’s a major hassle to get it to feed through. It either won’t grab it at all, or it takes it and spits it out the other end without printing. I don’t know if I have a lemon of a printer or do others have this problem too? When it does accept the paper, the prints are great.

I love this paper. I use it mainly for larger prints, often portraiture but also for landscapes and composite imagery. I use it for both color and black and white, printing on the Epson 1900, 2200, and 2880 models. I prefer to use the Premium Luster paper setting (when not using a custom profile) instead of the recommended Glossy setting. I feel that I get richer prints from the Luster setting. I have no trouble with paper loading as I have with similar papers. I have a few other favorites, but do grab Exhibition Fiber by the bunch whenever I can find it on sale 🙂

The paper does not do flesh tones well. I printed the same photo with Epson’s Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster and it was far superior. The Exhibition Fiber Paper curls (by Epson’s own admission) in response to heat and humidity during the printing process. Other prints that I made at the same time with other papers did not curl at all. That said, for black and white prints, it showed great resolution and tonality.

Epson’s Exhibition Fiber Paper is ideal for printing images scanned from film, because it has the look and feel of paper that would have been used back in the day of chemical print processing. Also, the weight of the paper (325 gm) is appropriate for the 17×22 paper size. A great choice for printing images originally captured on film!

This paper has been my paper since it came out in the market for the first time. And it always gave me huge smile until I discovered white borders I gave are inconsistent recently. I measured paper size. Guess what.Length of 22inch side are not 22inch. They are all inconsistent. WHAT THE F EPSON!Now I have to measure every paper size and fine tune my picture size in software? Oh my God. Can’t trust Epson’s quality control. I am switching to Ilford gold silk.

This is the paper I prefer for my 13×19 monochrome images. I love how it renders the tones, especially the deep blacks. I also like the substantial weight of the paper. There are only two drawbacks…1) it is expensive, and 2)the surface of the paper will sometimes chip and I’ll need to reprint the image. I am willing to put up with those two disadvantages for the quality of the product, though.

Great for exhibition work.

I love this paper. The prints look almost as good as the wet prints I used to make in the darkroom.

Great paper for black and white printing, maybe the best I have tried. Solid, rich blacks and good gradation. Color prints unexpectedly sharp. I need to dial back the saturation a bit on files developed for older papers. Excellent weight paper for larger sizes – and the full range of paper sizes is welcome. Used on Epson 3880 with Ultrachrome K3+ inks.
