Replicating the appearance and feel of a traditional F-surface darkroom paper, Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper aims to provide users with a beautiful soft gloss finish for their digital prints. A fiber base offers a professional feel with a weight of 325 gsm and thickness of 13 mil, making it an excellent choice for galleries and exhibitions. Also, by utilizing some optical brightening agents the paper is able to reach a whiteness of 147% and a brightness of 111%. This makes it possible to create prints with deep blacks and subtle tonal gradations, suitable for advanced black-and-white printing as well as long-lasting color prints. Additionally, this paper is instant drying.
This paper is available here as a 25-pack of 13 x 19″ sheets.

I was able to take some photographs I took at a street fair and print them on this large size paper and I was amazed how professional they look framed and hung on my walls.

Beware: You need to blow off small paper bits off surface before you print that are sticking to front surface.

Here is the paper of the traditional darkroom user’s dream. As a long time creator of darkrom prints I have been looking for an inkjet paper that would parallel the best wet paper processes. I look for a good fiber paper which has a solid feel. Epson Exhibition Fiber effectively reaches that standard and, in my opinion, even surpasses it. The surface recalls that of a fine fiber double weight glossy paper after it was washed, fixed, and air dried. It reproduces tonalities well, whether producing color or black and white prints. I especially like the 17×22 size since it is sturdy enough to take handling, despite its size, during the printer processing, without fear of damaging the surface. All in all, this Epson paper is capable of producing a print of exhibition quality. As a long time profesional photographer and former professor in the photography department of a New York State university, I back up my statement with years of experience. Finally, compared to other premium fiber papers being offered, I think it is very competitively priced at B&H.

I’ve been really happy with the Epson Exhibition Fiber Papers of all sizes. I have used it for nature and portrait photography and I have been quite pleased with the results. I don’t do much landscape work, but I think the paper would show well in that application as well. I print almost mostly on Epson printerss (a 2400 and a 3880) and have used the paper for B&W, as wall as color printing. These papers have been extremely consistent for me, providing very reproducible colors from print to print, and from box to box. The weight and texture of the paper make it ideal for most of my printing needs, and the price is very reasonable, given the quality of the product.

This is my favorite paper. The color reproduction is beautiful. The weight of the paper makes it lay very flat, great for mounting. The surface reminds of the old black and white glossy paper we would dry without glossing. If you like Epson’s luster, you will love Exhibition Fiber.

I have been a regular Exhibition fiber user in B&W and color for many years and find the current Signature Worthy edition to be an improvement over previous (white box) production runs. One of my past pet peeves was the paper’s curl that made feeding into my Epson P800 an occasional challenge. Still not as flat as the Hahnemhle Fine Art Baryta Glossy but close. The surface texture appears slightly more pronounced than before though smooth enough to clearly differentiate its from the Hahnemhle. Finally, when looking for the paper with the greatest tonal range and highest d-max Exhibition Fiber remains my go to paper.

Very nice semi gloss which I use to render back some of the brilliance fond in digital imagery. Great blacks for BW and nice colors , also archival enough ! Delivered with box protective corners .

This paper has a wonderful feel and weight. I’ve printed many color photography portfolios on it and they’ve held up well. Honestly, it reminds me of the Ilford silver gelatin papers I used to use in the darkroom, but thicker. It has a luster, semi-gloss finish but without a problematic glare. One thing I’ve noticed is that it is quite warm in tone so you’ll need to add a blue curve layer in photoshop to compensate if you don’t want your print to look warm/yellow-y. I’ve never had problems with it jamming or smudging. It is expensive, but worth the price for a high-end fine art portfolio of photographs.

i use it in place of Ultra Premium Lustre when I need a thicker paper with better ‘feel’, and deeper blacks. My best work goes on this paper. I have not noticed the tendency of the surface to be ‘delicate’ as reported by other users. Just lucky, perhaps.

I love this paper for black and white prints on my Epson 3880.

I won’t say this is the best fiber, because that depends on what you like and how you use it. I like it very much for some things. It has a great surface and takes the pigments of an Epson 3880 beautifully. I would like it to be just a touch lighter. It’s too much like cardboard for my taste, but does make it easy to mount. Harmann make a paper that is just a touch more like air-dried glossy and that will probably become my standard for black and white, but I think the Epson stands out when printing color.

Great paper…amazing color range and DMax…would have given it four star except for the fact it’s a bit fragile…prone to damage if not handle exceptionally carefully…

i’m having an exhibition this month and i was able to try this paper. i’ve used hannemles and other fancy ones, also the epson ultrapremium luster: this epson fiber is the best paper for price & quality. hannemules are often very delicate, they tend to scratch so easily. and the ultrapremium epson paper is a dog in comparison, it’s all plastic, also too glossy for my taste. great 13x 19 prints with an epson r2400. i’m so happy.

In my opinion, it is better than Epson’s Premium Luster, but not by much. It is a nice thick paper, which I enjoy but I feel that the surface quality is similar to the Luster, which cheapens it a little. The thing I was most unhappy about is that although I used the Epson color profile for this paper and printed on the Epson 4880, the prints came out much too warm (in a yellowish green sense) and just off in color in general. Took a lot of color correction to make it print as I wanted it too. I much prefer the Ultra Smooth Fine Art.

Since my days in the wet darkroom I have been looking for a paper that I like. Here it is! Prints are beautiful! Great dmax! The icc works well. Good job once again Epson!

Scott Kelby recommended it and it’s one of the best recommendations he ever made. It’s a top-of-the-line paper.

This is a thick presentation paper between semigloss and matte finish. Colors and B&W look excellent. Takes photo black ink on the Epson printer. I use it for competition photos.
