Very close to the traditional Photographic Papers of old

This has to be Epson’s finest paper. It’s glossy, but it isn’t near to being the glossiest. (I think Harman FB Al wins that contest.) It’s got a nice surface texture too. Overall, it makes prints look great without picking up too much glare. Nice paper.

I was disappointed with my color prints using cheap-generic photo papers. My friend told me to try more expensive photo paper, such as Epson’s Exhibition Fiber Paper. To my surprise, my prints were indeed more vivid and cleaner than the cheaper photo paper. Good paper equals good prints!

I was having some issues with a third-party paper in my SCP-800 so I tried the Epson product and am happy to say it worked very well. Nice, bright whites and good density; the prints resemble silver prints on air-dried glossy fiber paper. But that’s the whole point, isn’t it?

I’ve always enjoyed this paper in sheet format – great for color and B&W. However, I needed to print a 34 wide landscape photo with my Epson 3880. Although the 3880 does not have a paper roll feed mechanism, I was able to cut this roll and feed it through the sheet feeder. Works very well on the 3880 up to 34.7 width, without using RIP to go beyond that.

I read good number of reviews how great this paper is I decided to try it. Epson 2880. The good: This paper renders the images very well, contrast, sharpness, color… all good. The bad: There are always some little specs pilling of the, which is very frustrating. Printer gap is set to max. I cleaned with soft brush and air blower before printing… I did everything by the book. Curls- the edges of this paper will curl big time before print and even more after print. I would not print on this paper anything important.

My favorite paper–tonality, blacks, F-like surface, thickness–exactly what I want. But recently I had a big problem. Suddenly there was unevenness in pure black backgrounds that could only be seen at certain angles; it looked like a mechanical scraping. I tried everything (adjusting platen gap etc.) to fix it but nothing worked. Then I got a new box and the problem disappeared. If I hadn’t had the problem, the paper would certainly get 5 stars.

The product stands up to the claims and is very high quality. Images are crisp and color rendition is very accurate and balanced.

Using for photo exhibition. Prints lower contrast than what you see on your screen. Blacks tend to be somewhat muddy. But fixable with greater contrast and color saturation than you might see as normal. Perfect weight and surface for exhibition. Mounted and under glass blacks appear deeper.

For exhibition paper, I wouldn’t expect it to contain little black dots on each page. There aren’t many, but if you look closely there are like 2 or 3 little black dots randomly appearing on each page. We bought this for a class, where 3 other people bought the same paper from B&H; all of them had the dots. However, it’s still a good paper for proofing or portfolios if you don’t mind the dots because of the price. I wouldn’t show them in a gallery though.

Good paper. Seems to be a little to white but I don’t mind…besides my customers love it and that is what matters most.

I have an Epson P800 printer and this is the paper I use most of the time. It presents beautifully for color as well as black and white prints. The Epson printer profile works great with my printer. I like to museum mat my prints rather than glue them to a backing board. The weight and thickness of this paper make it a great choice for doing this. If you are serious about your photography this is a paper worth trying.

This paper in combination with my Epson 3880 printer produces B&W prints with the look and feel of darkroom prints made with double weight glossy paper. It has great blacks and bright whites and an amazing range of gray-tones. I have also used this paper with the Epson 2880 and achieved the same great results. It also works great with RGB images producing prints with colors that truly pop!

This paper is top notch for high-end ink prints. It is used by numerous professionals I’ve worked for, as well as myself. The only downfall is is fragility. It scratched very easily, especially after it has been printed on. Also, this paper is thick and may require more care in loading into the printer.

I’m extremely unhappy with the last roll I received. So far, in the first 3-4 feet of the roll, there appear to be random dark specks in the paper. These keep showing up in the skies of my images as I print them, causing me to have to start over and wasting a ton of ink. I’m done with this paper!

I user this for printing traditional B/W and infrared B/W images. The paper has a brightens that make B/W images look fantastic. For this purpose I love this paper. It is a bit more expensive then other Epson paper but it’s worth the price.

I’m a professional fine artist that shoots with black and white film. I scan my negatives and print digitally. I am happy with the results of this paper compared to traditional gelatin silver prints. This is my go to paper for when I show my photographs in galleries. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars becuase many sheets have spots on them that I cannot use for final show prints. I sort them out and then use them for test prints. I have to admit that I’m a bit disappointed that a high quality and high priced paper would have so many sheets that have flaws.

I love the big size..I can now make my own 16×20 prints at home. Terrific look and feel..like a pro print!

A premium luster paper with enough gloss to look like a photo print but with lower glare than hi gloss and a beautiful texture.
