I am photographing my collages and transforming them in Photoshop. The printed images are exquisite on the surface of this sturdy paper.

I’ve been struggling for years trying to find the right combination of printer, paper, print settings and ICC profiles to create prints that I would consider exhibition quality. Now that I have my workflow tweaked, I am producing 16×20 prints that my clients consider museum quality. There is something very special about the surface of the Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper that immediately evokes a high quality and special feel response. Not quite glossy and certainly not matte, the surface has an unmistakable fine art feel to it, but it does require adhering to a consistent workflow. The paper is not one of the printer default standards bundled with the operating system. I print with the Epson 3800, using a Mac, and downloaded ICC profiles from Epson specifically for this paper (it comes up as SP 3800 EFP_PK2880). In the printer dialog box check Let Photoshop Decide Colors and then select the appropriate ICC profile. In the printer settings box in the print driver, choose Ultra Premium Photo Paper Lustre and set reproduction at 2880×1440. This is critical since there is no setting for Exhibition Fiber Paper and this selection tells the printer to select Glossy Black ink. I have also found the best results with a 360 dpi setting when sizing the prints and also found that nik’s Sharpener Pro 3.0 gave just the right amount of sharpening, even to continuous tone areas with smooth bokeh. The paper is expensive and requires a craftsman-like approach but it rewards the diligent.

I love this paper. The prints look almost as good as the wet prints I used to make in the darkroom.

Epson Exhibition is a lustrous surface paper with excellent reproduction quality and long lasting keeping properties. My only problem is Epson does not manufacture the paper in 11×17 size. The only solution is to purchase the 17×22 and cut each sheet in half. It is for this reason that I gave it 4 stars.

This paper has been my paper since it came out in the market for the first time. And it always gave me huge smile until I discovered white borders I gave are inconsistent recently. I measured paper size. Guess what.Length of 22inch side are not 22inch. They are all inconsistent. WHAT THE F EPSON!Now I have to measure every paper size and fine tune my picture size in software? Oh my God. Can’t trust Epson’s quality control. I am switching to Ilford gold silk.

I use this when I want to have a subtle soft gloss appearance for my art work reproductions. I really like the thickness of the paper and it is more durable than most. I would like it to have Epson printed on back like the Epson Luster so my customers know it is not a generic paper but an Epson quality paper. It is more expensive than the other types of paper I use but I will continue to buy it for the quality.

Like the finish and weight, general feel of paper. Prints are beautiful. Be sure you do some proof prints before committing this expensive paper to ink.

I’ve been really happy with the Epson Exhibition Fiber Papers of all sizes. I have used it for nature and portrait photography and I have been quite pleased with the results. I don’t do much landscape work, but I think the paper would show well in that application as well. I print almost mostly on Epson printerss (a 2400 and a 3880) and have used the paper for B&W, as wall as color printing. These papers have been extremely consistent for me, providing very reproducible colors from print to print, and from box to box. The weight and texture of the paper make it ideal for most of my printing needs, and the price is very reasonable, given the quality of the product.

Received my first box of this paper as a gift. Used it very sparingly; it was too expensive to waste. The Epson Luster paper was a good proof paper for it. When the price dropped, I bought 2 boxes for myself to stock up. Love the brightness, texture and weight of this paper.

I use this paper to print scans of my paintings as well as photography. The result is something which is to me unrivaled as far as other papers out there. It is heavy, non-flimsy. The surface gleams, rather than shines; it’s something less ‘glitzy’ and more elegant – – a satin-esque radiance, rather than a specular one. No one can be disappointed in this paper, I can’t recommend it enough…. worth every penny. I wish it came in more sizes.

I love this paper, but my Epson R2400 printer does not love it. It’s a major hassle to get it to feed through. It either won’t grab it at all, or it takes it and spits it out the other end without printing. I don’t know if I have a lemon of a printer or do others have this problem too? When it does accept the paper, the prints are great.

I like this paper quite a bit. I feel it does a good job of accurately portraying colors and has just enough texture to give my images a 3d feel. My only complaint is that I could not find anywhere that told me how to set up my printer and I had to contact epson for the information. In addition if you do not have an epson printer I do not know where you could find a printer profile.

Basically satisfactory printing effect.

I primarily print in bold, saturated color and I find the results with this paper unmatched in terms of DMAX and brilliance using this paper and Epson pigment inks.

B&H knows their stuff. My paper order arrived in excellent shape and on time. The three large, heavy boxes of paper were well protected, wrapped in an inner container. Exhibition Fiber is Epson’s finest quality paper for printing color or B&W photographs. The price was right and the current buy 3 pay for 2 rebate makes it a deal you can’t pass up.

This is a reasonably priced professional grade semigloss paper that works well for color or monochrome imaging. Detail in shadows is reproduced well and there is never any evidence of metamerism. My go to paper for fine art printing.

The paper produces great blacks! Really good quality paper to create b&w images.

Exhibition Fiber Paper is a light luster paper with which you can use photo-black (PK) ink. It is a heavy weight and as a fiber paper doesn’t have the plastic feel of Ultra Premium Luster Paper. The 13 x 19 size comes in a box that is larger than the paper and the paper sits in a cardboard frame such that the corners are very well protected. (I’m talking about the Epson box, not the shipping box.) As a light luster paper, it has a bit of a texture (not extreme) and a light sheen which helps to give it a good DMAX. Unfortunately, although the paper is in the Epson Signature Worthy series, you can’t sign it in pencil. Felt tipped pens are the only type of pen I’ve found that give good results. Be sure to let the ink dry for several days before covering the print (say for shipping).
