Epson’s Exhibition Fiber is really the top of the line for me when printing images on semi-gloss papers. I’ll use Epson’s Premium Luster when printing on a budget or perhaps with test prints, and use the Exhibition Fiber when I want the upmost quality with deep blacks and bright whites. It’s more delicate than Luster, so you do need to be careful in terms of not scratching an image or ensuring that dust isn’t present before printing, but it’s worth the extra care.

Epson’s EFP is an excellent alternative to the silver gelatin hydride papers of the last century. Everything about it, the feel, the weight, the texture. all excellent. Just a note your need to increase saturation by a minimum of 12% and also adjust paper thickness for the printer feeder to 13 ML.

Paper is great, but I found out the usual Epson rebates that B&H sends you after an order are no good. You have to order all 3+ approved papers in the same order. So, rarely would that ever work for this small printer who goes through 220 cartridges every 3-4 months. Shame on Epson and B&H should not send these unless you meet the 3+.

I was having some issues with a third-party paper in my SCP-800 so I tried the Epson product and am happy to say it worked very well. Nice, bright whites and good density; the prints resemble silver prints on air-dried glossy fiber paper. But that’s the whole point, isn’t it?

this size is wonderful for both color and bw the larger 17 x 22 paper tends to curl up on the long side but after matting and framing no problem great quality prices are good

I love this paper. It’s now my go to paper for almost all prints. I’ve used canson baryta, harman fb al, museo silver rag, ilford smooth pearl, and all of epson’s line. They all have their strengths for different images, but I always seem to come back to EEF. Very versatile stuff with good weight and feel. Colors jump off the paper and B&W prints look spectacular. Much more palatable after the price drop, before it was fairly cost prohibitive. I’m gonna buy more when a sale comes up. The only con is you have to be really careful to get all fibers off the printable side or you might end up with a white spec if that fiber falls off after printing.

I’ve been really happy with the Epson Exhibition Fiber Papers of all sizes. I have used it for nature and portrait photography and I have been quite pleased with the results. I don’t do much landscape work, but I think the paper would show well in that application as well. I print almost mostly on Epson printerss (a 2400 and a 3880) and have used the paper for B&W, as wall as color printing. These papers have been extremely consistent for me, providing very reproducible colors from print to print, and from box to box. The weight and texture of the paper make it ideal for most of my printing needs, and the price is very reasonable, given the quality of the product.

If you’re looking for the best, stop! this is it. Prints beautifully on my epson SC-P800.

This is a thick presentation paper between semigloss and matte finish. Colors and B&W look excellent. Takes photo black ink on the Epson printer. I use it for competition photos.

The shadows are so much better on EF. Really they are far more open and less blocky. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive!

A bright luster brings out the near hidden nuances of a black and white photo print.

Exhibition Fiber has long been one of my favorite papers for printing images for sale in a Gallery. (The other favorite is Velvet Fine Art.) Used this batch for both color and B&W prints for a photo competition/exhibition. Printed on my Epson 3800. Did not disappoint. Never does. Highly recommended.

Excellent tonal range and lovely photographic paper surface. Great blacks.

I use this to print an 8×10 before committing to a larger format print, if that is my ultimate goal. A premium luster paper with enough gloss to look like a photo print but with lower glare than hi gloss and a beautiful texture.

Excellent dmax and smooth finish. The free profile from Pixel Genius is almost perfect! Combine a calibrated monitor, EFP, and the Pixel Genius profile and you will get stunning results!

The only paper I use. Handles color and black and white very well. Never had an issue. Surface maintains perfect balance between being glossy, but not too glossy. I’ve tried Ilford Gold Fibre Silk, but I couldn’t really tell the difference after the prints were under glass. Speaking of which, you’ll want to print, let them dry and then either frame, or adequetely protect the print as it scratches/damages easily.

Everybody loves Exhibition Fiber, and for good reason: it looks and feels like the fiber-based papers we used back in those halycon days when the smell of fixer filled you anticipation. I use a lot of this, but after doing a comprehensive comparison of top-shelf fine art papers, I’m switching to Hahnemuhle Fine Art Photo Rag Pearl. My tests were far from objective I was looking for the best paper for my style of photography. Now I will say that Exhibition Fiber was a close second and is, in my optinion, still one of the best PK (photo black) papers available.

When Epson introduced K3 inks, I started using premium luster paper for black and white on my 4800. The look was great, but the paper was thin up close with window matting. Exhibition Fiber is the answer. Premium Luster look with Ilford Fiber Gloss feel. I still miss the fixer smell on my hands though.

The thickness of this paper and its luxurious surface make it a dream to use.

I’m using this to print landscape photography on the Epson 3880. by cutting it to 17 inches wide I can print panoramas up to 30 inches long. My other choice of paper is Harman by Hahnemuhle which I normally use in the 17×25 inch size on the Epson 3880. One problem with the Harman paper is that it often comes with curled edges & tends to warp until the ink is perfectly dry. What I like better about the Epson Exhibition Fibre is that it lies perfectly flat & stays flat even just after printing. Both of these papers give brilliant sharp prints & I would recommend either one.
