The Epson P800 that purchased from B&H along with this canvas paper had taken me from Photographer to Artist.

Epson Exhibition Canvas Satin Archival Inkjet Paper is OK, but the Matt provides a truer rendition in Photographs. I suspect the Matt (MK) black performs better due to a higher Dmax. Additionally the Satin Canvas does give a more Canvas, (rough) look in the final result. I believe Satin might look better with paintings and artwork.

I’ve always used this exact canvas in my Epson Surecolor P9000 commercial printer. It’s always been great, some of the highest quality I’ve tried. UNTIL this year. I just spent around $1k on 3 rolls of this and printed an order and it cracks all around the edges of the canvas and throughout it on any dark areas of the print. What ever they are doing now during manufacturing is not working, and their quality has completely gone out the window. I’ll be returning all 3 rolls. It’s not usable, what a waste of time and money.

It’s more expensive than most, don’t try to compete with online printers, but it is worth it for display. Looks better flat mounted than stretched.

Produces striking canvas prints.

Good paper, heavy duty and sturdy. Print quality is superb, however the existing texture (of the woven fiber) on the surface might be an issue for some. I am not sure how to justify $100 difference in the price between the matte and satin types of the same product?

I use this canvas as my primary running canvas. For the cost it stands up against everything else I’ve tried and doesn’t crack when stretched.

This paper produces excellent color results. The problem is that this canvas is 23mils which makes it extremely heavy to wrap images that are 15 inches wide or smaller. I would not recommend this canvas for prints smaller that 17 inches.
