   I AM A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER AND I USE THE EPSON 2400 PRINTER- THE INK IS SUPERLATIVE – AND MANY OF MY CLIENTS ARE INCREDULOUS THAT MY FINISHED PRODUCT IS DIGITAL-BECAUSE OF THE FINE DETAIL AND EXCEPTIONAL CRISPNESS OF IMAGE THAT CAN ONLY BE ACHIEVED IN THE DARK ROOM PROCESS. I BEGAN MY DIGITAL EXPERIENCE WITH EPSON PRODUCTS AFTER 25 YEARS OF INTENSIVE DARK ROOM EXPERIENCE AND I CAN HONESTLY REPORT THE ONLY PRODUCTS I USE ARE EPSON BECAUSE OF THE AUTHENTICITY OF REPLICATION OF TRUE IMAGE AND THE VEARACITY OF CAPTURE AND DEPTH IS INCOMPRABLE.

   Printing on my Epson R2400 this Matte black produces wonderfull B&W prints. I work with Epson’s Velvet Fine Art and Ultra-Smooth Fine Art papers – and the results are always great. The only drwabacks are the need to change between Matte and Normal black, and the small size of the cartridge.

   The Epson R2400 Printer is a great printer. I only use Epson ink although there are cheaper products available. I have never had a clogging problem even though I have left the printer idle for 4 months. Just switch on and off she ran a perfect test print. Light Light Black Ink is the most used of all the inks, be it a color or mono photo being printed.

    I get beautiful, long-lasting, color accurate results with my R2400 when I use the K3 inks. Price is good when inks are purchased in bulk here and much cheaper than running a wet color lab. No complaints.

    My 2400 seems to love light magenta. I have been going through two to one on Lt magenta . maybe because I’m printing a lot of people portraits. If you use your printer a lot,you know that when you are out of one color ink the printer won’t print. I order inks in advance so the printer works, and I’m not out of business. I always order from B&H. …

    Easy to install without wasting a lot of time. The Epson R2400 lets you know when its time to replace the ink cartridge. It doesn’t get much easier than this. Wonderful blacks for monochrome and color printing.
