THE MATTE PICTURE QUALITY FROM THIS INK IS EXCELLENT ON MY EPSON 2400 PRINTER. I ALSO OWN AN EPSON 2200 PRINTER AND AN EPSON 3800 PRINTER AND FIND THE MATTE QUALITY EXCELLENT ON ALL THREE.FOR LARGE PRINTING JOBS I PREFER THE 3800 BECAUSE OF THE LARGE INK TANKS, IE LESS WASTE FROM CHANGING THE INK CARTRIDGE AND BETTER VALUEBUT FOR INDIVIDUAL PRINTS WITH NO PRESSURE FOR MASS OUTPUT BOTH THE EPSON 2200 AND THE EPSON 2400 PRODUCE EXCELLENT MATTE PICTURES.I ATTRIBUTE THIS BOTH TO THE INK QUALITY AS WELL AS THR PRINTER.

All my photo printing is done on an Epson R2400 purchased in August 2007. Since then, I have printed 1512 Epson Premium Photo Paper Glossy 5x7s, 138 Epson 8.5x11s, 111 Epson 11.7×16.5s, 2 Epson 13x19s & 28 Epson 4x6s, all on the best quality settings. All this printing included 18.5 Light Magenta cartridges for an average of 81.5 5×7 prints per Light Magenta cartridge. I do not replace ’empty’ cartridges until the R2400 shuts down and refuses to print. I use more of this color than any of the other 8 in the R2400. Love the quality of prints I get from the R2400!

It’s nice that B&H has a package deal to get all 8 on one click, as opposed to having to select each color by itself.

I am a photographer and use Epson ink cartridges for printing photographs with my Epson Photo Stylus R2400 printer. The printer uses a lot of ink so I go through cartridges fairly quickly but I haven’t had a problem with any of the Epson inks clogging or spattering prints. I will continue to buy Epson ink.

All this printing included 13.5 Light Cyan cartridges for an average of 112 5×7 prints per Light Cyan cartridge. I do not replace ’empty’ cartridges until the R2400 shuts down and refuses to print. Love the quality of prints I get from the R2400!

Its all good.
Rosina Harris (verified owner) –
excellent results—too small a quantity Epson’s only flaw here is the extremely small capacity of these cartridges. the ink produces precisely as expected

I’m glad that B&H continues offer inks and other supplies in support of older Epson printer models. Epson ink combined with Epson paper on their printers can’t be beat.
Rashad Steuber (verified owner) –
for the 2400, great color, but a bit expensive
Avis Kreiger (verified owner) –
Used for amateur/hobby printing. Gives good quality color. However, not a lot of ink for the money. I guess you just need to pay more to get the quality.

Epsom Ink, or perhaps dye, produces archival photos.

These inks in an 2400 produce the most brilliant images

I use my Epson 2400 with this Ultrachrome Ink to produce archival quality fine art prints. The ink colors are consistently true. The only drawback is the size of the cartridge, but that is determined by the printer itself.
Frederik Treutel (verified owner) –
I see no reason for using anything other than this stock Epson ink, since it looks so good. Once your printer is set up and you have the proper profile for your paper, it will run like a champ with this ink!
Camila Mohr (verified owner) –
You can never have enough ink! Great line.

Don’t buy these anywhere else. I get them fast and it’s always a great price. Plan ahead and stock up.
