I haven’t had this printer long but so far it has been excellent, better than prints I have had made here locally. The color in a picture almost matches that on the computer screen which was why I decided to purchase my own printer. Very little adjustment is needed to make a print. The only exception is when a shadow falls across and object or if picture is little under exposed it will be very dark to black. My rating 4+ stars.

Excellent ink; perfect for archival prints. Have been using Epson 79 series ink for years with Epson Ultra Photo paper. Never a disappointment with print quality. Ink dries almost instantly and does not fade or change color.

Yeah ! I have tried all of the aftermarket replacement inks. They are comparably cheap but do not perform well. In some instances they may not be even recognized by the printer. I use the printer mostly for photo printing and there is no comparison. 4 stars because it is horribly expensive.
