   I’ve been taking photos and printing them for about 17 years. Mostly doing black and white emulsion and prints in my bathroom darkroom. About 5 years ago I switched to digital photography. Two years ago I purchased the Epson Stylus 1400 photo printer and began making prints. I’ve been very pleased with the color’s I’m able to get from the Epson toner and paper combinations. Very rich and saturated and the blacks are black. My only criticism about the toner is that the number of prints you get out of one cartridge seems a bit low. But that seems to be the case for all printers I’ve used. And I understand printer manufacture’s make there money on toner.

   I always use Epson ink for my Epson 1430 photo printer and Epson 7720 printer. The 79 ink always gives me the quality and brilliance to my prints as large as 13 x 19 as I expect. II have never had any problems with Epson ink.

   I am an artist and am always looking for vivid colors and consistency. Epson 79 Black Ink is true to the core. I have been printing with the Epson colors for over 2 years now and wouldn’t trade the quality for any other ink. The only downfall is that with all the printing I do I wish that the ink would last longer. It seems I am changing out my cartridges anywhere from 3-6 times a year depending on production. Other than that I highly recommend this product for any fine artists out there looking to reproduce their work! A.M.

   Now I know that dye-based inks bleed when printed on regular paper. This does not work for me.

   If you want honest color and reliability from your printer, stick with OEM ink. I have a 10 year old Epson 1400 and it prints just like new.

    After checking a number of sites for the best price and stock for the six genuine Epson brand ink, B & H was the best price and had the stock I needed. Delivery was quick as promised which prevented me from having to stop the project I was working on.

    Excellent ink; perfect for archival prints. Have been using Epson 79 series ink for years with Epson Ultra Photo paper. Never a disappointment with print quality. Ink dries almost instantly and does not fade or change color.

    This ink is always a winner in my book.I use it with my Espson 1400 and the prints are always impeccable. The Claria inks are fantastic and there is never a print discrepency. Sometimes I can go a year between prints and the color/quality remains the same out of the printer. Highly recommended.
