Not much to say, get the genuine inks like these for Epson printers. Don’t buy generic inks for high-quality photo printers, you’ll regret it. I use these inks on my Epson SP 1400 and they come out great. Just make sure you’ve got the right ICC profiles for the printer/print paper combo.

Beautiful color rendition – wonder resolution interpretation – fantastic saturation – bright clean and clear reflective color performance, using Epson proprietary products throughout my workflow and I have been very satisfied with the performance of this ink system. I grew up in the business from way back when film ruled the world, and an in house color lab was a massive headache to maintain. We have it made today – color (great color) is so easily accessible and a breeze to maintain. Epson as far as I am concerned has nailed this product to the legends of color prints. (Oh and it looks great in Black & White as well). With this Epson workflow – I can proof out images and find flaws that were missed in Photoshop. My studio has a reputation of clean, clear, sharp, crisp super hi-fidelity color in my commercial product image outputs – with color as natural as possible. Epson helps me to maintain that reputation and it is a pure thrill when my clients are awe struck with the beautiful renditions that I can achieve and deliver to them on Epson supplies. I shop for quality over cost so I can not speak to what might be more cost effective. I spend more time in Photoshop than I do behind the camera – so when I run out a proof – I am looking for what I missed in Photoshop. Epson rules as a proofing device – and handing off Epson images as a Press Proof has worked as good – if not better than more expensive Press Proof systems.
