   I recommend this ink and the Epson R1900 for anyone looking for professional and affordable printing. Actually, the prints I make with this system are better than any prints I have ordered from pro photo shops. You just have to know how to color correct.

   This ink is used in my Epson Stylus Photo 1900 and is very consistent. Once the printer was dialed in, ink changes don’t change the color or density.

   the gloss had an expiration date of 2020. two others were early 2019 and the rest were 2018. i used most of the ink for nozzle checks and head cleaning. the yellow nozzle has been soaking for 5 days in cleaner and still will not clear.

   I have always been pleased with Epson’s ink for the R1900. Colors are true and do not fade, even in sun. Cartridge life does seem on the shorter side.

   this works amazing. it puts an unbelieveable shine on an print you want but it can also be turned off incase you are doing matte prints.

    Since I run art prints instead of photos, the gloss optimizer is usually turned off, but when I do run a photo, it looks beautiful.

    These Epson inks are great for color printing, particularly if you apply a custom printer profile made with a spectrophotometer. Unfortunately, the yield for a set of cartridges is limited to about 10 15×10 prints.

    Repeated problems with different colored cartridges for the Epson R1900 Printer. Colors of the print are okay, but there has been repeated times where the new cartriges did not work and I had to contact Epson to discuss the problem.
