   This ink is used in my Epson Stylus Photo 1900 and is very consistent. Once the printer was dialed in, ink changes don’t change the color or density.

   These ink cartridges produce nice, vivid images! If you’re printing a lot of enlargements, they don’t last very long. I would think that for a printer that’s designed to print up to 13×44, they would use an ink cartridge with a larger capacity.

   The orange cartridge is a great addtition from the R1800 to the R1900. Helps with orange and red tones especially sunrise and sunset.

   I’ve had my Epson R1900 since shortly after it came out. It’s a great printer, but finding ink for it is becoming harder and harder these days. I was happy to find the packages that B&H is handling at such a good price. Shipping was fast and it was packed well. I highly recommend it.

    We use this ink catridge and the others at our school. They produce vivid colors and since they are from Epson, we don’t worry about compatibility. I gave this 4 stars however, because of the price. Per ounce, I think this stuff is the priciest liquid on earth!

    Shelf life of the cartridge left – 5 months. I have returned cartridge to B&H for replacement. Replacement cartridge had the same shelf life – 5 months. I gave up – you win B&H.

    Using genuine Epson cartridges in their printers is not the cheapest option, but if one takes into account that the color profiles that come with the printer (R1900) and specifically the more advanced profiles from Epson America that are sufficiently accurate not to have to have a custom color calibration, the price difference becomes marginal.
