I always use Epson replacements inks in all my Epson printers and never have any problems. I know the 1900 printer is discontinued now but I think they made the cartridge smaller than in the 1800 containing less ink for the price. Perhaps they went back to larger replacements in the new version.

Shelf life of the cartridge left – 5 months. I have returned cartridge to B&H for replacement. Replacement cartridge had the same shelf life – 5 months. I gave up – you win B&H.

I’ve read so many reviews of people using 3rd party cartridges and have lost prints, money and time when printing was crucial to them. Spend the extra money to buy these, you won’t go wrong! Ordering online from B&H is perfect and never a hassle!!! Besides, would you want the headaches as mentioned when you need to get printing done?
