Epson K3 inks are obscenely overpriced. They’re not inexpensive via B&H — but at least the price beats that of direct purchase from Epson. With $ purchase, shipping is free and as fast as the premium surcharged quick shipment from Epson.

If you print on Matte Paper on an Epson Stylus R2880, you must use Matte Black ink. When you choose Matte Paper with the Photo Black cartridge inserted, the printer will not let you print. I like the matte finish on my b&w shots as it seems to give more depth and range to the print.
