Since this an old model printer I was a little concerned that the ink might have been stored for a long time and out of date. This was not a problem. I did have to clean the heads on my printer twice since it had been unused for at least 2 or 3 years. The bottom line is the ink works great and so does the printer. As others have noted these are fairly small cartridges and you need to be efficient in using them. I have found that the speed setting on the R-2880 produces excellent prints and uses a little less ink. All in all I’m happy that I can still get the ink at a decent price for this older printer.

The blacks are phenomenal with this cartridge. I’ve been using this ink for years now and even on old prints the blacks are as rich as the day I’ve printed them. Very easy to load into the printer. ONLY problem is that it runs out too quickly but it could just be my printer and it can get pricy. But that’s how it is w/ all ink I guess.
