   I give four stars because of the price, otherwise the K3 technology is great. The high price is an issue for all things inkjet these days, especially the high-end printers such as my R3000. The color spectrum is beautiful and the fade resistance of the prints is extraordinary too.

   I have noticed lately that when I order ink from B&H the expiration (shelf-life) dates are sometimes nearly expired. Epson lists these inks as having a 2 year shelf life (unopened.) When I get them in I’m noticing I may have 18 months left or only have as little as 6 months left on that expectancy. I’m hoping that does not become a problem for me.

    I thought light black was gray, but maybe it’s just light black. It goes with the other colors and seems to blend in well to get various tones.

    Well this is light black, then there is light light black, I suppose there is clear, but then what’s the point? The light black helps to create tonal variations. Works fine.
