I have a Canon 6D converted for making infrared fine art images. I print them on my Epson 3000 printer, and I always buy genuine Epson ink so that I can achieve perfect results every time. It is not worth having my printer malfunction with cheap imitations. With B&H’s incredible low ink prices, I don’t have to skimp!

I use the genuine Epson ink for making fine art prints. the quality of the prints are excellent. I have experienced a couple of dysfunctional cartridges that were replaced free of charge. the ink is very expensive. there are substitutes for this ink but I don’t print in high volume so I don’t think they would work for me.I want trouble free printing.

Epson R3000 printer would not recognize this Epson 157 Vivid Light Magenta cartridge purchased Nov 2013 and attempted installation April 2014. Cartridge expiration date 2015. B&H advise they do not warranty past 30 days but agreed to ship a replacement cartridge. So, 5 stars for B&H, 1 star for Epson.

I can only echo the advice from photographers who print their own work, and that is to use the manufacturer’s inks. The Epson inks are simply the best. So far, I only use Ultra Premium Glossy and Luster papers with spectacular results. I purchased this because of a defective cartridge, but Epson also sent me a free replacement cartridge. Bravo Epson…
