Excellent quality ink, just a tad expensive.
Hayden Kilback (verified owner) –
Use with Epson 3800 for photographic prints. Use with variety of paper types, brands, and sizes. Excellent results. Also, am pleasantly surprised at life of cartridges, and that they haven’t dried up or caused problems if/when I don’t use printer for a while.

Superb phone ordering and fast delivery.

I use the Epson inks recommended for my printer because I don’t want any surprises in making prints for clients or a show.
Dewayne Cormier (verified owner) –
The ultrachrome inks are the best Epson has. My first choice.
Serena Thiel (verified owner) –

I am a painter (——-) and have recently started to create digital paintings. I use an Epsom 3880 for printing. The Epsom Ultra pigment ink series produces excellent color. I am very pleased with the results.

The UltraChrome K3 nine color ink set has been out for a number of years now, and Epson has introduced some newer professional ink sets with changes in cartridge colors. I don’t have experience with the newer ink sets, but I do have years of experience printing on every type of paper or media with my Epson 3880. This includes the most recent metallic and textured print media. I have continued to get consistently awesome print results that always impress (as long as my print settings are correct!).

I’m an old guy who spent 30+ years in the black and white darkroom, but when it came to color I’d always used a good pro lab. I’ve recently launched into the fine art market and decided to see if the Epson wide-format printers were as good as I’d heard. Simply, yes. I had images that never printed well on Kodak or Fuji silver halide paper (from good labs), but my first trial with the 3880 was stunning. The wider color gamut (which I don’t really completely understand) apparently makes a measurable difference. Plus, my per-print cost over the pro labs is less, even though the quality is better. And, since this is technically a review of the light black ink for the 3880, let me assure you that it is, indeed, light black.

this ink works great in my epson 3800

I have been using my epson pro 3800 printer for four years and it is a workhorse! Dependable and always delivers beautiful prints. I have found their inks to be long lasting and of great value. It might seem like a lot of money to lay out for a cartridge, yet in the long run it really delivers!!

I previously had an EPSON R2400 printer. The R2400 was great, but I was continually having to buy new print cartridges because of their small capacity. My main reason for upgrading to an EPSON 3880 was because of the large capacity ink cartridges. B&H’s discounted price on the 3880 cartridges makes my decision even better.
Fermin Schumm (verified owner) –
B&H’s price for this item is unbeatable.
Nora Kirlin (verified owner) –
Use Epson inks ONLY in my Epson printers! Perfect results every time!
Declan Feil (verified owner) –
This ink consistently performs well on the Epson papers.

I have only used OEM inks with my Epson Stylus Pro 3800 and have yet to have any clogs. Awesome printer and ink.
Francesco Kautzer (verified owner) –
You simply cannot beat the price for these carts.
Benton Heidenreich (verified owner) –
Using this cartridge in the 3880 is no problem. Works great. A bit expensive but if I use the printer regularly I don’t need to clean the nozzles and waste ink.
Kianna Runolfsson (verified owner) –
These inks enable the photographer to make digital prints which are virtually the same quality, with beautiful shadow detail and great contrast. Just like the silver gelatin prints we were used to.
Charlotte Crooks (verified owner) –
I print my own archival prints and my Epson 3800 does a great job. The ink is top quality and prints a great image.
