great, except the 7800 does not seem to actually use up all the ink in the cartridges. our 9880 does a much better job.

Good price …. Used to create fine art prints. Consistency and quality are very important with my work. I have not noticed any variation in print quality after using Epson inks for the past 8 years and this particular ink for about 2 years.The 220ml size also provides some savings over the 110ml size – lower cost per ml and less frequent cartridge changing so less waste ink overall.

There are after market inks in the market. If you are printing for yourself or others, many artist like to think their work will survive long beyond their years. The UltraChrome inks are tested and with the proper paper your prints should be around for a very long time.

I have used Ultrachrome inks for 8 years with outstanding results. No fading or color changes. 5-Star. Note: These are NOT PIGMENT inks. I have had my Epson printer so long that I thought it was on it’s last legs …so I bought a Canon ipf6350 as my new main printer. This piece of Canon junk went down on me in less than two years, (Want to buy some inks? I didn’t even go through my 2nd set of 130 mls before it crashed.). Everything went wrong with it and Canon DOES NOT SUPPORT YOU (you must consider these disposable printers if something goes bad). I am now back to my still-running old faithful Epson Stylus Pro 7800!! Yep, it’s still cranking out great images. I’m looking to get another back up, 44 or 60 EPSON.

Epson’s cartridges work well and are very easy to install. The color is consistent between batches and B&H consistently has the best price for this particular line of cartridges. The 220 ml cartridges last a long time, typically a few hundred feet of printing on my Epson 7800. This cartridge and the Light Light Black are the two I go through most frequently.
