   My new Epson photo printer came with starter ink carts. Not much there there. I was worried that disruptions from the global pandemic might put an end to Business As Usual, including my access to ink supplies. Not wanting my new printer to become a mere decoration, I bought the whole set. They sit in a drawer now, awaiting how ever this turns out.

   I use it in Epson’s new P600 printer. It does the job it is supposed to do, which is to play a part in the excellent color prints produced by this printer.

   The ink is the ink. And it’s quite good ink for a quite good (P600) printer. But the ink price is outrageous No fault of B&H, I presume. It’s Epson, essentially holding its loyal customers hostage. Thus, my 3-star rating takes into account the pricing; it does not reflect the quality of the product. And that’s, kind of, the problem: because, as other reviewers have noted, you don’t want to use non-Epson inks in your Epson printer. Thus do we (I, anyhow) feel trapped.

   This product works exactly as advertised. I’m not aware of third party options for Epson printer inks so I’m not sure there’s a choice to be made here.

   So far it appears to be a great printing experience with the inks that came with the printer. This was purchased for backup ink cartridges when the others run out. Not sure how long they are going to last at this point so we need to keep backups around.

    Order these from B&H so you know you are getting the real thing! I ordered from Amazon once and they looked like Epson but were t in boxes–and all of a sudden my printer broke. It’s really worth it to by from trusted source like B$&H.

    I am still learning how to get a perfect print from this printer, but I do love the quality of prints. I am using it for artwork and photography – but mostly artwork. Still working to find the balance, some prints are oversaturated – so takes some experimentation to open up the image to produce a pleasing print. Inks all worked perfectly.

    I use it in my Epson P600 printer where it works its magic every time. I only wish that its capacity was a little higher. I print so much that I find myself changing ink cartridges more often than I’d like. Be that as it may, the ink performs very well.

    These inks are expensive but I wanted a pigment printer vs a Dye printer. Been using Epson pigment printer since 2008 and they never fail me…
