Large cartridges are economical.

Good ink. Expensive.
Giovanni Emard (verified owner) –
I go through more of this than any other color. Excellent blues.

I have tried non-branded inks and they’re just not worth it. For the best results, use Epson Ink for Epson printers. The color is rich and there are no errors or problems.

What can you say? Good ink
Gabrielle Lang (verified owner) –
Great ink for Epson Sue color P800 printer.

I am extremely happy with my Epson P800, which I’ve now had for 7 or 8 years. The inks last well for my moderate use. A shame they’re so expensive, though. Still, I expect many more years from my printer and its high-quality inks.

Works as advertised

Longer lasting cartridges. Printing with the Epson P800 has improved. When comparing the same photo printed on the 1400 vs P800, a marked difference and improvement is noted on the 800. Very happy

The cost saving of third party ink just isn’t worth it. This is great ink. The Epson paper profiles are made using this ink. I never have clogs. What more could you ask for.

These Epson Ultrachrome HD inks are surprising for their brilliance and depth. I understand these are archival for long-lived, art quality prints and that makes the beauty of them even more surprising. These inks and the P800 printer have taken art print publishing to a new level for the small studio! I have been in the full time profession of fine artist for well over forty year now and this was an unheard of production ability not all that long ago. Archival inks and fine printing have brought a profitable addition to art sales, while bringing beauty and affordability to a wader range of art patrons. We all win.

The possible savings of 3rd party inks is far outweighed by the wasted cost of the paper and ink when a print doesn’t come out as expected. Also I’ve never had had a clogging problem with Epson Ink, if another brand requires a head cleaning cycle the cost of the ink wasted could easily exceed the savings up front. in addition a clog could lead to and expensive repair.

I’m a pro photographer and do on location events and printing. Okay, I’m sure the ink is fine. I love my Epson 3880 printer and the prints it produces. But, I made a big mistake and ordered this by accident. You see, the 3880 requires ink T5807 and this nearly identical looking cartridge for the newer P800 is T8507. So, when I received the ink, I glanced at the number and since it looked right, I put it in my kit and went on location without another thought. I realize this was my mistake. But, the cartridges look exactly alike in size shape and packaging except for the smaller, for SC-P800 in the middle of the label. If I had even thought it might be a mistake, I would have noticed. But, as it happened, I got to the job site, ran out of Light Black, and confidently grabbed and opened this ink, only to find that the cart would not lock in place in my printer, even though it looks just like the right cartridge. I ended up driving a couple of hours away to get an emergency cartridge because I couldn’t be without ink for a day while on site. While B&H has been great customer service on just about everything else, they had no sympathy for me on this. After many years and thousands of dollars spent here, I am unable to return the opened but unused ink cartridge. So, I will probably have to eat the cost. The mistake was mine to be sure. But, I also blame Epson for the ridiculous nearly identical packaging and numbering system. T8507 vs. T5807? C’mon…really? B&H was not at fault for my ordering the wrong cartridge…Nor did they design the confusing packaging. But, I had hoped for a bit more consideration as a long term customer. Aside from my ordering debacle, I have to say that Epson inks and paper are great…no complaints about that. So, that’s why the middling review.

I am fully satisfied with the gallery-level results from the P800 and its selection of inks. I’ve had it 6 years and anticipate many more to come.

USE THIS INK IN MY EPSON P 800 PRINTER, LIKE ALL PRINTER INK IT IS EXPENSIVE BUT THESE LARGE CARTRIDGES DO SEEM TO LAST A LOT LONGER THAN INK IN PREVIOUS PRINTERS
