   Couldn’t be more pleased with my new Epson P800 and the HD inks that come with it. Reviews said the blacks were amazing and they were right. I would highly recommend the printer and the HD inks to anyone wanting to make 16×20 prints.

   I hate having to spen $500+ for ink, but it feels fantastic to have my wide format Epson P800 up and running. I had to replace the overflow tank too, but now I’m chomping at the bit to print. The first thing I printed was very colorful. It’s a 17×22 and a blast of color. I think the printer and these inks are amazing. I wanted to upload the photo too, but I keep getting an internal server error.

   The price for the inks has gone up. It is a very expensive proposition to print your own images, but you get control over the result and can develop a personal style. Buying inks is a gamble. What happens if the printer breaks? And there already is an upgrade on a printer which I can afford but then what do I do with the inks?

    I have tried non-branded inks and they’re just not worth it. For the best results, use Epson Ink for Epson printers. The color is rich and there are no errors or problems.

    If you are using this ink you are most likely a pro or at least serious amateur. Just don’t take the chance of not getting correct colors, wasting paper or most likely ruining your print head. BTW these new HD Pro inks no longer have a warranty expiration date. to me buying the real thing is money well spent.

    Can’t make prints without ink. Every color is important, as the printer won’t work without each and every cartridge having some ink in them. I count on B&H to get me the colors I need when I need them.

    I like the printer very much, much better than the one it replaced. These pigments do a great job. But the printer goes through them pretty quickly, and they are expensive to replace. If they were better priced, I’d give them five stars
