   Best Ink in Town for the Epson SC-P800, if you print with the Epson SC-P800 this is the only ink you can use.

   This printer is almost economical to run. Unlike the All-in-Ones, those are outrageously OVER PRICED and just poor designs. The p800 does a really good job of printing, and with the costs of the inks, it is far more economical then the all in ones. The 1400 , was a good printer, but, the inks were costly. Epson, and the other companies SHOULD lower the prices, and still make a good profit. This would be a win win. For all.

    If you are using this ink you are most likely a pro or at least serious amateur. Just don’t take the chance of not getting correct colors, wasting paper or most likely ruining your print head. BTW these new HD Pro inks no longer have a warranty expiration date. to me buying the real thing is money well spent.

    This is my 5th Epson printer since I started using them for portfolios and fine art prints. I think Canon and others have caught up but they nailed it first and the quality continues. Even the canned profiles are pretty good if you are too lazy to make your own. My only complaint is one you hear from Everyone, the inks are prohibitively expensive. There are more than a few printers you can find that in the long run would be cheaper for the quality, but for that you give up some control and immediacy. I have tried the 3rd party inks and papers with mixed results, if you are going to use this top of the line printer, you are best off using their inks and even papers. And as a photographer who learned in the darkroom, not the lightroom, Epson’s Exhibition Fibre Paper is amazing… and you guessed it, Expensive!

    Recently purchased epson P800 printer and needed to have a full supply of all ink colors,as I get used to how quickly each color is used i will be able to buy one or two cartridges at a time
