Cartridges are easy to load and work fine. But their cost is way too expensive. Epson should come up with a refill method for these cartridges so your not buying the cartridges and their chips each time. Or epson should have a trade in policy old for new.

The possible savings of 3rd party inks is far outweighed by the wasted cost of the paper and ink when a print doesn’t come out as expected. Also I’ve never had had a clogging problem with Epson Ink, if another brand requires a head cleaning cycle the cost of the ink wasted could easily exceed the savings up front. in addition a clog could lead to and expensive repair.
