Epson T8506 for the SC-P800 is the best and only ink you should use for the SC-800. Color is rich and dries fast for handling and off gases in 24 hours.

The possible savings of 3rd party inks is far outweighed by the wasted cost of the paper and ink when a print doesn’t come out as expected. Also I’ve never had had a clogging problem with Epson Ink, if another brand requires a head cleaning cycle the cost of the ink wasted could easily exceed the savings up front. in addition a clog could lead to and expensive repair.

After years of using the old Epson 3000 I have to give the Epson SC P800 a big thumbs-up. I know the carts are smaller at 80ml but the ink set is the reasonable set of cartridges with out the extra fancy red and green. The prints are coming out vivid and beautiful and, Baby, that’s what sells! Knowing the prints will last for many years without noticeable fading is a true blessing…. for me and my patrons.

Again, these inks are economical , P800 Printer works really well, and there isn’t waste as some printers in the past. Ink nozzles aren’t finicky as in the past printers .

If you are using this ink you are most likely a pro or at least serious amateur. Just don’t take the chance of not getting correct colors, wasting paper or most likely ruining your print head. BTW these new HD Pro inks no longer have a warranty expiration date. to me buying the real thing is money well spent.
