Buying the ink set allows some per unit reduction in cost, which I appreciate since the cartridges are maximally pricey when sold individually. They will get used eventually. All of the cartridges received, except one, had distant expiration dates, and the one that was near expiration will be used soon anyway. With these inks I have not seen any apparent loss of quality even when the expiration date is up to a year past, though of course I don’t want to push too far into such a situation. Also have seen that this ink formation is much less subject to producing print head clogging, which I had seen with the earlier Epson inks used in their older printers. Greatly appreciate that attribute.

I like the large tank size and the quality of the ink.

Needs to be better packed.

the title says it all. I only use Epson Ink in my Epson printer. It gives me predictable color with a variety of papers using the paper manufactures ICC profiles. I don’t want to risk unacceptable prints using aftermarket inks.

This is genuine ink for the Epson SureColor P800 printer. It is a great photographic printer. The ink, though expensive, actually turns out to be less expensive per/ml than much smaller ink cartridges for standard printers. B&H has the best prices for this ink that I’ve found. It was easy to order and was shipped promptly.

I’ve had bad luck receiving ink from other places that come to me already expired. So frustrating. Now, I ONLY order from B&H. They are NEVER close to being expired and they ship to me so darn fast.

Good color, good longevity, few head clogs occur, but they are easily cleared.

I ordered Epson T8502 cyan cartridge instead of T5802. My (dyslexic) mistake. I didn’t realize this when I opened the box, but I did know something was wrong when I tried to insert the cartridge into the printer slot, and it didn’t fit. Then I checked the cartridge and realized my mistake. Although the cartridge was unused, I did take it out of the box, so it was not returnable. I ended up having to order the T5802 which is exactly what I need.

I’m a pro photographer and do on location events and printing. Okay, I’m sure the ink is fine. I love my Epson 3880 printer and the prints it produces. But, I made a big mistake and ordered this by accident. You see, the 3880 requires ink T5807 and this nearly identical looking cartridge for the newer P800 is T8507. So, when I received the ink, I glanced at the number and since it looked right, I put it in my kit and went on location without another thought. I realize this was my mistake. But, the cartridges look exactly alike in size shape and packaging except for the smaller, for SC-P800 in the middle of the label. If I had even thought it might be a mistake, I would have noticed. But, as it happened, I got to the job site, ran out of Light Black, and confidently grabbed and opened this ink, only to find that the cart would not lock in place in my printer, even though it looks just like the right cartridge. I ended up driving a couple of hours away to get an emergency cartridge because I couldn’t be without ink for a day while on site. While B&H has been great customer service on just about everything else, they had no sympathy for me on this. After many years and thousands of dollars spent here, I am unable to return the opened but unused ink cartridge. So, I will probably have to eat the cost. The mistake was mine to be sure. But, I also blame Epson for the ridiculous nearly identical packaging and numbering system. T8507 vs. T5807? C’mon…really? B&H was not at fault for my ordering the wrong cartridge…Nor did they design the confusing packaging. But, I had hoped for a bit more consideration as a long term customer. Aside from my ordering debacle, I have to say that Epson inks and paper are great…no complaints about that. So, that’s why the middling review.

This tank of ink does it better than any other, squirting it’s self on to the page until the very last drop. Yes I WILL have to buy it again, again, again, again…. 🙂
