It works.

If you are using this ink you are most likely a pro or at least serious amateur. Just don’t take the chance of not getting correct colors, wasting paper or most likely ruining your print head. BTW these new HD Pro inks no longer have a warranty expiration date. to me buying the real thing is money well spent.

Best price I could find. Fast shipping. Works perfectly in my Epson SureColor P800. I’ve been doing business with B&H since 1995.

Frankly I wouldn’t use any other ink but Epson in my P800. Very good and consistent results.

Works great with my new printer

Does what is meant today. Epson P800 is very economical with inks. If CALIBRATED properly , I get the best prints, ink nozzles aren’t finicky as in the past , Decent amount of ink per cartridge , however, ALWAYS room for improvement.

Love the large capacity cartridges for my P800 printer. Received my order in 2 days. Great light stability.

Bought the new P800 and boxes of 17×22 paper. This printer is a wonder and I wanted to have plenty of ink carts as I produce new fine art portfolios

Kind of hard to review a consumable like Photo Black Ink. I can only say that it produces beautiful results in my Epson printer. And I really like the larger-capacity 80 ml cartridges compared to the tiny ones in my old printer.

So easy to change

I’ve been using Epson’s UltraChrome HD inks in my SureColor P800 17 wide-format printer for two years (a little longer, i think) and have NEVER WISHED FOR BETTER. Probably warrants saying, too, that I use Epson papers–their Cold Press Bright is wonderful. I do digital art and photos (haven’t got my website quite right yet, but watch for it!) and expect my prints to be faithful to the on-screen images. They are. I’m my own severest critic and not given to flights of subjective hyperbole. Others erupt gushingly about velvety black expanses and finely detailed color–I revel in it. Blimie and Herman sell the ink, the paper, and the printer; if you’re using a lesser combo, I’m willing to bet that you’re a wee bit reluctant to call yourself a professional. You can fix that: Epson’s Ultrachrome HD inks through the SureColor printer onto Cold Press Bright (for instance-there are a bunch of others; the Metallic Photo Paper Luster is another personal favorite) will have you striding out. No doubt. — Dee Johnson

The price for the inks has gone up. It is a very expensive proposition to print your own images, but you get control over the result and can develop a personal style. Buying inks is a gamble. What happens if the printer breaks? And there already is an upgrade on a printer which I can afford but then what do I do with the inks?

I’ve always used Epson ink in my Epson printers. The UltraChrome inks give perfect colors in my P800. I use Epson and 2 other brand papers. Even though I sometimes go weeks between prints, I’ve never had a clogging problem on the P800. I haven’t even thought of going to another brand of ink.
