Epson inks minimize head clogs and resist fading. I keep some prints near a sunlit window and after over 1 year +, I see no fading compared to ones stored in the dark.

All of the UltraChrome inks provide beautiful results. I’m not a big time user but I do print a lot of greeting cards and quite a bit of images ranging from 5×7 to 24×16. These ink cartridges last a long long time. They’re a lot more expensive than the 3rd party refill options but with those one has to worry about doing damage to your printer (and I am speaking from experience) . I’m very happy with a the inks for the P800.

If you are using this ink you are most likely a pro or at least serious amateur. Just don’t take the chance of not getting correct colors, wasting paper or most likely ruining your print head. BTW these new HD Pro inks no longer have a warranty expiration date. to me buying the real thing is money well spent.
