The Squids 3180 Tool Tethering Kit includes a 3130S Coil Lanyard, a 12 ft. (3.7 m) roll of 3755 Self-Adhering Tape Trap and six 3700 Web Tool Tails. This kit allows you to tether up to six 2 lbs. (0.9 kg) tools.

Works wonderfully. Easy to install, easy to use. Lanyard stays out of the way when tool is in pouch. The lanyard is long enough to use with both hands, and is of light enough tension to not disturb grip. My only need, is for an additional lanyard so that I can have one for each side, for two tools at once. i.e. wrench, and channel locks.

Working in a mezzanine it enabled us to work safely without dropping tools through the ceiling below. I also ordered the extended reach strap with this as well and I would recommend it beyond the shorter squid that came with the kit.

I like everything about this kit. But time will tell if the “tape” can stand up to extreme weather conditions. I don’t live in an extremely cold environment but it does get cold. That being said, it does get up to 115° or hotter at times. I may be back to revise my review. So far, so good.
