This steel pan is what I was looking for in close to “old style” gold pans. Wish it didn’t have the ribs but they work better than a smooth pan. The thickness of the pan was a surprise, thicker than expected. It will rust quite easily so need to keep it lightly oiled. I would give it a 10 out of 10 if you want an old style gold pan (with ribs). I Bought 4 sizes of steel pans.

This is a very nice and authentic pan. You will need to prepare it before use. Remove the oil by placing it in a campfire. Its great for panning or decoration on the wall . I will use it for both.

This is the best gold pan out there . My wife wanted a new pan and this one produced results first time out . Its big but easy to manipulate and you can process more gravel in one go than the smaller pan I use . Going to get one for myself . Great price and we live in the sticks so delivery was our only option. Arrived in 3 days .

Great metal pan for SUMER use. I prefer plastic when it’s icy out, so do my fingers. To overcome the rust issue I put the pan on my grill (high heat) it went blue then black. rust problem solved. These are good frying pans when camping. Again as they get scratched up back to the grill or camp fire.Worth every penny.
