Tackle a wide range of repair and maintenance jobs with this Estwing screwdriver set. Containing 6 long shaft screwdrivers in the most commonly used Phillips and slotted/flat blade screwdrivers, these tools have enhanced features to take some of the aggravation out of otherwise stressful projects. These include magnetic driver tips that hold screws in place for easier installation as well as aid in removing them from confined spaces. Diamond tip coatings on each hand tool gives them increased friction for greater grip with less chance of cam-out and it also aids in removing stripped fasteners. The tool shafts themselves are coated with a protective black oxide layer that resists rust and corrosion. Comfortable dual layer handles are ergonomically designed for improved grip while delivering maximum torque. For easy identification each tool has laser etched size markings on the tool shaft and a icon on the end cap to quickly distinguish driver tip type. This is a very good set of screwdriver made by Estwing Phillip’s and slotted magnetic diamond tip screwdriver set. It is 6 piece set and the magnetic tip on this set is not weak like some magnetic tip screwdriver are. They do hold on to the screws very good in confine space plus the diamond tip on these screwdriver helps with that to especially when you are trying to take the screws out or put them back in a confine space. The one thing I notice and Iove about this set is if you bump or touch something when you’re trying to install the screw they don’t move easy they stay in place you don’t have to start all over again the magnetic tip holds them in place. On the shaft of the screwdriver the size and typis etch into the tool . The grip is very comfortable and you are able to place a pressure on these grips the screws out plus with the diamond tip you can get the screws out easier that helps to hold on to the screws better and you don’t have to worry about rounding the head of the screw out. This is a very good set of screwdrivers and you want go wrong in getting them and they are very durable and they last you along time.

Decent set of philips and flat head screwdrivers. Nothing super fancy here but also no super glaring issues with the set. The screwdrivers do exactly what you expect screwdrivers to do.The things I like about this set are a few things. First the handles are slight triangular with very soft edges so it fits comfortably in the hand but also won’t roll if you set the screwdriver down. The next thing that is nice about this set is the bottom of the handles have a clear easy to see symbol denoting whether the screwdriver is a flathead or philips head screwdriver. They also have etched the screwdriver size on the steel bar. There are no major issues that I have with the screwdrivers. I would say that the magnetic end is adequate not super strong but can hold a smaller screw. The screws do sit very well on the tip so the magnet is secondary. The other Weird thing about the screwdriver set is that the handles are different sizes based on the size of the screwdriver tip. It might be a plus for some but I felt it was weird.Overall this is a decent set of screwdrivers. Appear to be able to hold up well to wear and tear. Definitely would recommend this set.

The screwdrivers arrived well packaged and undamaged. But they were contained on a cardboard and plastic blister-pack which was difficult to get open. A sharp tool was definitely necessary to get them out.The set consists of 3 slotted drivers of 3 different sizes and 3 Phillips style with 2 #2 drivers of different length and one smaller #1 driver. There are no square or Torx drivers included. The handles on all are large, sturdy, contoured in a rounded triangle, and surfaced with a hand-friendly soft plastic which allows considerable force to be exerted on the screw-head.I do not know if the shaft of the driver extends all of the way through the handle. All of the drivers have hardened steel shafts with diamond-grit tips which noticeably improved the purchase of the tips on the screw.Using the Phillips driver, with its diamond-grit tip, I was able to remove a damaged Phillips-head screw which I could not do with my best power driver tip. I was impresssed! Picture #3 below shows the tip engaged in a slightly damaged screw head. I see this as a very good basic set for the home handyman, but with square drive screws becoming more common, additional drivers will likely be necessary.

I really do like this set of Estwing screw drivers because they have some features that a lot of screw drivers do not have. First off they have good size handles which a lot of screw drivers do not have and they are magnetized so that is a really good feature and there are three different size slotted screw drivers as well as three Phillips sized screw drivers which should handle most of your needs. They are made well and should last quite a while.

This set has the Phillips head and slotted or flat head and are heavy-duty. I really like that they are magnetic, which is such a time-saving feature. This set of screwdrivers has a diamond tip coating also on each one. The tool shafts themselves are coated with a protective black oxide layer that resists rust and corrosion, The handles have a comfortable grip. Another great feature for identification is each tool has laser etched size markings on the tool shaft, and a icon on the end cap so you can quickly distinguish the driver type without having to pick each one up and look for the right one. This set of six includes: 3/16” x 4”, 1/4” x 4”, 4” and 5/16” x 6 in slotted and PH1 x 3”, PH2 x 6” Phillips size screwdrivers. So you get 3 Phillips and 3 Slotted tip, all in most common sizes used. Each tip has been permanently magnetized and won’t drop fasteners. I would definitely recommend this 6 piece screwdriver set to everyone. It is extremely well made and will last for years to come. You will see in my photos each piece has a marking on the end of the handle to show whether it’s a flat-head or Phillips head screwdriver. Also you will see that they are magnetized. Great set.

This is a great set set of 6 all purpose manual screwdrivers with diamond and magnetic tips. There are 6 total with 3 of Phillips style and 3 of slotted style that have a nice non slip grip texture and molded wider at top and slim down towards the base. Each one has the type of screwdriver style symbol(either a cross for phillips or line for slotted) so you can easily recognize which type you need. You get 2 sizes of Phillips heads in 3 lengths(3,4 &6 inch) and 3 sizes of slotted with 3 lengths(3/16&5/16 w/6”handle and 1/4 w/4”handle). A great set to update your screwdriver set since a battery operated one may not be the best tool for the job.

I don’t think you will go wrong with these. Very good set of screwdrivers. Loaded with features that are helpful to the mechanic or homeowner. They are all magnetic with strong magnetic tips. It is sometimes hard to find a straight slot screwdriver with this feature. The handles are large, padded, and triangular shaped. Wet or greasy hands won’t have a hard time gripping these firmly. And they won’t roll off a workbench when laid down. The butt end has an indicator showing whether it is a straight or cross point screwdriver. Handy feature if you keep yours in a tool pouch or holder. One glance and you know which one you are grabbing. The tips are roughened enough to give good grip in the fastener. I think they should last you for many years.

At the time I bought these there weren’t many reviews but I thought I’d try them given the Estwing name. Ideally I was hoping for a set of drivers with a lot of resistance to cam-outs and strong magnet tips for holding on screws. One of my measures for a good set is how well the PH2 driver works. Unfortunately the magnetic hold was relatively weak and the tip wasn’t fitting as snugly to the screws as my German made drivers. There don’t appear to be any other stand out features to crow about so these are going back. I’m sure they could work fine for someone, though there are better sets of screwdrivers for at or near the price.

The estwing phillips and slotted magnetic diamond tip ( 6-piece ) screwdriver set is a welcome replacement set of screw drivers, especially the phillips. One does not realize how much a phillips head wears out until a new one is used. The magnetized diamond tips grip even the softest screws without doing any screw head damage. The marked head makes it easy to grab the correct driver for the job. And with the diamond tipped heads, these drivers will last a long time if they are not abused.

The Eastwing Screwdriver set (Model # 42447) is a set of six drivers, 3 straight edge and 3 Philips. Each of the screwdrivers has a magnetized tip, handy for keeping fasteners in place or for fishing out dropped fasteners.The shaft ends have a diamond bit coating, which is designed to help maintain torque on fasteners and help in removing stripped heads. In use I’ve not had any stripped fasteners, but the screwdrivers do seem to stay on the work without popping out of position. The shafts are marked with the size of the screwdriver (see photo).The handles are oversized (at least compared to most of the other screwdrivers in my kit) and are quite comfortable to use, even with wet hands. They are of a triangular design so they don’t tend to roll away when you lay them down (see photo).I’ve mounted the set on pegboard in my garage – the sizes included in the kit lend themselves to general DIY chores. (Slotted sizes: 3/16″ x 4″, 1/4″ x 4″ and 5/16″ x 6″. Philips sizes: PH1 x 3″, PH2 x 4″ and PH2 x 6″).Fit and finish of the tools is quite good, and there’s a limited lifetime warranty by the manufacturer. There’s a 180-day return policy on the set as well. There are only six screwdrivers in the set, but they work as advertised.HTHRegards,Jim
