Tackle a range of heavy-duty demolitions, maintenance and similar rigorous tasks with this Estwing screwdriver set. This pair of screwdrivers are custom designed for taking on tough projects with hex shaped CR-V steel shafts to allow the use of a combination wrench or adjustable spanner to bring extra torque to bear against rusted, stuck, or stubborn fasteners. To make sure that fastener you just spent the effort to loosen comes all the way out, the screwdriver tips are magnetized and the proprietary diamond coating provides the tips with added grip to reduce cam out and rounding. The ergonomic handles are dual molded with a hard, polypropylene plastic (PP) core surrounded by a softer, more comfortable TPR rubber overmold. The base of each handle also features a steel strike plate instead of a plastic end cap. Set includes a PH2 x 6 in. Phillips and a 5/16 in. x 6 in. slotted/flat blade screwdriver.

This was an impulse buy. I haven’t had to use them yet, but I have abused screwdrivers before so I know there will be times when I am glad I have these. The handle is pretty large, but very comfortable in my hand. The shafts are not as bulky as I expected. They have a black coating that should help them survive in difficult situations. Also, they are magnetic which is handy. I really like this feature. I have some super-strong magnets that I often place on my other screwdrivers to entice then to hold the screw. I took a photo of the phillips demolition screwdriver holding a #10 screw.

These are very nice heavy duty screw drivers. They have the nice magnetic ends on them which is very useful. The only issue is for smaller hands like myself, it’s harder to get a full strength grip. I did use these to put all 23 door handles on with no issues though but I definitely wouldn’t grab these as my go to for smaller projects of course. My husband doesn’t have this issue and really likes them so he uses them a lot more than I do. He fixed our sons quad whose screw for some reason on the handle is a pain to tighten and had no trouble. All in all I’d say these are great for anyone without a small grip. They definitely seem durable and made to last a long time which is also a large plus.

The Estwing Heavy-Duty demolition screwdriver set has a #2 Philips with a 6 inch shaft and a 5/16 inch Slotted with a 6 inch shaft. The set comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Each screwdriver has a HEX Shaft to allow the use of an adjustable wrench for extra turning power. The Shaft goes all the way through the dual molded ergo handle with a steel pad on the end for the use of a hammer to help loosen stuck fasteners. Model # 42449

This is a really beefy screwdriver sets. The steel shaft goes all the way through the handle and is attached to an end cap striking plate so there is no worry about breaking. The shafts are rust resistant. The tips are magnetic making it easy for a quick grab. The 6″ shafts themselves are hex shaped so that you can use a wrench for additional torque. The handles are easy to hold with good gripping texture.

This Estwing screwdriver set of a phillips and a flat head is heavy duty and very large. The tips are magnetic so you don’t have to worry about losing a screw in the process during a DIY job. I have already used this product many times in the few days I have had it. Feels sturdy in my hand and definitely a good quality. It came extremely well packaged from the company that makes it. I would recommend this to anyone needing a nice strong set.

These are not your grandmother’s screwdrivers. These are awesome, heavy duty screwdrivers built for tough jobs. On those not so rare occasions when you decide to use your screwdriver as a chisel or pry bar (I’ve broken every Snap-On and Craftsman screwdriver I’ve ever owned), these heavy-duty demolition drivers will hold up to the worst you can give them. The steel plate at the butt end of the handle is inviting you to hit it with your 3 pound hammer.

Again, these are screwdrivers so there is not a lot to say about them but since I am part of a program that requires me to give my opinion of such items, an honest review, I must do so. These are pretty heavy duty in my honest opinion. They are not cheapy feeling or cheaply made. Now I am no type of expert on tools of any type but I do have common sense. They will serve their purpose and do so well. Long reach too.

Sometimes you just want to use a screwdriver as a pry bar or in a heavy use area. All my “normal” screwdrivers usually get damaged with use this way and you feel guilty using them that way. These two screwdrivers are substantially made. The grips are slighlty triangular which lets you turn them harder than with most screwdrivers. The tips are hardened.

This is a great heavy duty pair of screwdrivers. Each one has a great magnetic tip which really comes in handy. One is a number 2 Phillips head and the other is a 5/16 slotted head. 3 sided rubberized handles fit nicely in hand. The top of each handle also has a solid metal striking area for hammer use. Overall i would say that they are very high quality demolition screwdrivers.

This demolition screwdriver set is STURDY! The steel shank goes from the mushroom head on the top of the handle for striking with a hammer – straight through to the tip. The overmoulded grip is a good size for my hands – average-sized male. These have a longer than standard shank which provides good leverage for prying and great torque for loosening those long-stuck screws.
