You never have to worry about the hammer coming loose from the handle. The rubber grip is also excellent. Replacing multiple cracked tiles in my house, the Estwing was especially handy with a chisel removing the old mortar off the cement floor. Being one solid piece of steel, and the extra weight and good surface area hitting the chisel, I wouldn’t even think of using a cheaper hammer. GREAT PRODUCT

I bought this 3 lb. drilling hammer (baby sledge) to install a couple of temporary T-posts. I could see where using this hammer on many T-posts for a deer fence would really tire out your arm because you should be using one of those specialty T-post drivers for that job. Nevertheless, it was comfortable and relatively easy to use for the small installation. I’ll probably be using it more with a cold chisel. Anyway, you don’t have to worry about the head flying off with its one-piece construction.
