i found this hammer to be a good hammer for anyone who is starting into blacksmithing, it has a good grip, not too much, or too little weight, it really helps with swordsmithing

This hammer is nice. Its high quality is evident and the solid steel construction is almost unbeatable. My only complaint is that for a 4-lb hammer, it needs a longer handle. The 3-lb version of this works well with this shorter handle length, but it’s too short for the 4-lb. I returned this one and opted for the longer handled version, which solved my problem. Unfortunately I couldn’t find this in the store so I didn’t know how it would feel in my hand until after it shipped to me. I think it’s a good hammer, but I recommend getting the longer handled version instead of this one.
