The handle snapped in half the first time using it…j/k…Estwing hammers are built to last! This hammer is well made, and will probably last the rest of my lifetime, and then some. No problems with quality. The only issue I have with it is weight balance…it almost takes 2 hands to swing it. I also own the smaller 3 lb. hammer, which can be swung with one hand, but the handle is almost too short to get any good leverage. A 3 lb with a long handle would be ideal…at least for my needs. Hint, hint Estwing. 🙂
