These yellow/red mallets are nice for trim carpentry. Soft red side let’s you safely hit your workpiece into place and the hard yellow side let’s you hit a nail punch. The Estwing red side is a little too firm and the curve of the handle is too much.

I held off for years because you can’t replace the faces on this hammer. That was a bad idea, this is probably the most useful hammer I ever bought. No need to hunt for a block of wood, just wack what you want to position with this directly. Now that nail guns are the standard this is a bust have.
