Have had this tool for some 50 years. Got soaked from a leaking roof in an old shop and I had to clean it up. The area between the hammer and leather handle is now pitted and I had to completely replace the leather so it does not look pristine as the picture does but I would not trade it for a new one. Still rock solid.

I bought this Estwing E22 leather handled rock pick to replace one that I used at Northeast Louisiana University Geology Field Camp in 1981 at Silver City New Mexico. A purchase I made to place in a rock collection memory cabinet. This was the best price I could find online with free shipping. I would only wish that Home Depot would stock the Estwing #3 leather sheath or newer Estwing sheath that goes with the E22 rock pick.

Home Depot has the best price anywhere with free shipping to store which beats out any Amazon or EBay sellers best deal. I purchased my Estwing Rock Pick to replace one that my ex wife took in the property settlement in 1981. Yes this is a wallhanger and a beautiful one. I wish Home Depot would offer the leather tool holder for this hammer.
