The Estwing shingler’s hammer with replaceable blade and gauge is great for installing and trimming composition and fiberglass shingles. It has a cutting edge of approximately 1-3/4 in. The head and handle are forged in 1-piece and are fully polished. This solid steel milled faced hammer has a bonded and molded Shock Reduction Grip that reduces shock up to 70% and will never come off the solid steel 1-piece handle. Estwing hammers are the only hammers that can make this claim. Made in USA. Protect your eyes from flying particles and dust. Always wear safety goggles. Bystanders shall also wear safety goggles.

My first roof hammer .. It was missing shingle gage , call Estwing and they made it right. I didn’t find any u tube or data from estwing on the correct use of gage and how to keep cutter blade from moving when shingling. . It feel good in the hand ,my age 60 plus and checker head set hot dip roof nail for AR shingle good

Balance and striking force is great. Shingle gauge makes it easy for the installation. I really didn’t use the knife I kind of found it to be a bit on the hazardous side if keep out and time consuming to be retracting every time not been used.
